5k run/walks

So I was thinking about how hard it is for me to stay motivated without a realistic goal, so I was wondering if anyone was interested in training for a 5k this year. There is a wonderful program I used last year (couch to 5k) that really helped me out. There are going to be a lot of races starting soon for many non profit organizations. So how about it, anyone interested?

I was thinking we could set a deadline for training and each one of us choose the race we want to be in and the date and help encourage one another to do it. Its always easier w a buddy system in place.

Just an idea, let me know if your game?

I was supposed to start with a 1 mile walk for the zoo but my face surgery was much harder than I expected.  I have only been back to the gym a couple of times.  That being said I really need to start up so count me in.  I may only do 1 mile walks until I get some of the weight off.  I will begin with my first 1 mile walk on March 12th.

 awesome, im sure more ppl will want to join, last year i had really good results.
