Please excuse my ignorance...

Please someone define the difference from snacking, as oppose to grazing?

Am I eating 3 meals?

3meals 2 snacks?

5-6 small meals?

2 shakes and meal?

This has been an issue since day one...

Please explain

For me - I eat 5-6-7 meals a day.
Grazing is when I do it all the time, get a bite here and there... all day or over long period of time.
meal - or measured snack - it is a premesaured portion - that I eat obver 15-25 minutes. (a meal time).  Usually it is 15 min. And i do not eat anything or drink anything after taht for at least 30 min.  Then it is time to drink.  Then it is meal time again. i.e. I feel hungry now - but my next meal is suppose to be 30 min from now.  So I will wait - drinking my tea or coffee until itis time to eat. then i will eat a small meal/snack. Then - will be 2 hrs or more from eating - I may drink coffee or tea, or water, chew gum - but not eat until at least 2 hrs from the time I ate last.

A shake I may consider a meal - or a drink - that depends how many calories it has and what is my daily balance for proteins and calories to that point.
*some days I need to squeeze a shake between meals - to make sure i get enough proteins - but then I try to make it low carb and low fa****er based, and treat that as a "supplement" - not a meal.

Lady you asked a lot of questions.  I will give it a shot to try to help you.

1st of all, grazing is snacking all the times.  Snacking in every 30 min to an hour or less.  Grazing can ruin your daily calories for the day.

As far as meals go, some people group recommend 3 meals no snacks, some recommend 4 to 6 small meals a day.  You have to find what works best for you.  My group said 3 meals no snacks.  I have never been able to stick with that recommendation.   Hope this helped some.

Thank you so much, Y'ALL!!

Since coming back, Ive already lost 7lbs! Might just be water, I am like a damn sponge. LOL Plus my periods coming, so this is gonna be interesting.

Im eating more actually MEALS, not snacks.

Brkfst> 2 eggs, sunny-side UP
             1-2 slices wheat toast

shake-maybe

Lunch> turkey or salami sandwich w/lettuce & tomato

pm snack(when I need it) > some tea & oatmeal cookie

Dinner> Then Curry Garlic chicken, couscous w/vegetables

Dessert (if I 'earned' &worked out)> Muscle Milk Lite

(That was yesterday)

Doing my shakes  2 or 3 times a day.

Wearing my pedometer and trying to do 5,000-15,000 steps a day

And, how about this... jumping jacks 2-3x a day. Hee Hee... 50-100 at a time, then some good old fashion sit-ups.

only thing left to conquer is my sleeping habits. Im having so much trouble sleeping thru the night. Trying to develop a better habit for that. But thank you, Ill update on my progress!

Think the main key was just f*cking being lazy, not really eating and not exercising. DUH!!!!!!
