Here is what I think.  Everyone says that when your muscles get bigger they weigh more so maybe you are losing fat and gaining muscle.  It is toning you so it really is helping you become healthier and look better.  3 lbs. could be water retention or a lot of other things. I don't think it is anything to worry about.  To lose weight you need to keep track of what you eat very carefully and then eat a couple hundred calories less each day.  Some people lose weight quickly in the beginning but that tends to slow down after a few years.  Welcome to BOTT the home for those of us that are trying to lose 40 more pounds.     Persistence and patience will make it happen.  Just me

Hi!
Welcome to BOTT!  I guess my first question is what are you eating and my second is, are you eating enough to counter your exercising?  Can you give us a little more info.

My calories are like 1500 per day. I am eating 24 grams of protein or more per meal.

Did you remember to measure your body before you started to counter the unavoidable weight gain that happens when you start working out? :) If not, do so now, so that you wills ee the inches you are losing even if the scale tells you something you don't want to hear.

Also--
How is your sodium intake?
Are you within a week's time of your monthly cycle?
What is your water intake like each day?

You are leaving out a lot of info here......:-0  Like have long have you been exercising 4 times a week?  If it is just one week you have not gained muscle weight and this is a myth anyways.  Working out 4 times a week is vague especially if this is cardio.  Are you weight training any or is it all cardio?

I doubt weight gain is from exercise.  Please don't stop exercising.  But given there is not enough info in your post I can't give you my full 2 cents. Too many holes if that makes sense LOL!

Hang in there and be patient the weight will come off with 4 days of activity and eating correctly.  Keep up the good work!
