Since I started lurking in here and then started posting... I can say I'm doing a happy dance.

I've lost 11 pounds! Today's weigh in was 201.6 and my goal for November 30th is 199.

Just 40 more to go to take off what I gained over the last two years.

I am trying to lose at least 30 of it by the time my husband gets home in late May, so that gives me roughly 6 months.

I think I can do it!

I've been tracking my calories, fat, protein and exercise with my iPhone app (I'd marry this thing if I could) doing walks, Wii Fit and a little stength training. I cut down portion sizes and the fast food. And I still feel like I am living like a 'normal' person.  Of course, the Zoloft could be rsponsible for that HAHA.

Welcome to the "40 lbs. to lose" club!   I can't believe how many of us still need to lose that 40!  Congratulations on 11 lbs.  That is huge this far out from surgery.  I feel confident you will lose 30 lbs. in 6 months.  I really KNOW you can do that.  Persistence and patience.  I assume your husband is in the armed forces?  Thank him and give him a hug from me.  I appreciate all he has done for us.  Just me

Hi Just Me!
Yes, my husband is Navy security and is in Kandahar. He gets back late Mayish and I would LOVE to have lost everything I gained over the last 2 years before he gets home. And of course he'd love it too. hahaha

Thank you for the message for hubby. He will get it. :)

Thank you! I will definately keep on BOTTing-- in fact, I've been catchng myself when I reach for too many fries out of my son's small serving, "I don't think the gals would approve." and I let them go. hahaha

The big motivation, and I will be honest, right now is my vanity and just DYNIG to see hubby's face when he walks in the door. Because as I lose, I am going not telling him. He knows I've lost the 10 pounds, but I did tell him that once I catch up to him (194), I'mnot going to tell him anything after that. And he was fine with that. :)
