I am up at 5 am hungry. I actually planned my meals and snacks on the OH health tracker. I worked it out so that it is 1500 calories, 50% carbs, 30 % protein and 20% fat. That is what the U of Wash. called a high protein diet from the article on "how many calories should I eat". And my dietitian said I should eat 1600 calories. I will move my veggie soup to snacks so that my meals are more solid...someone else recommended that. I will get to my healthclub today 'cause my body is feeling a lot better today. I will make sure I eat my nuts cause someone else recommended that.

Breakfast: eggbeater sandwich
Snack: cheap soup, grapefruit, walnuts
Lunch: chicken breast and fat free cheese Quasidilla
Snack: cheap soup, apple
Supper: Chicken sausage and brown rice
Snack: cheap soup with a slice of fat free cheese, fat free/sugar free cheesecake

I really am open to any suggestions at this point. I am frustrated with my whole situation. I eat like a horse and am constantly hungry. I know there are a lot of other people out there trying to get through the holidays without gaining and maybe losing a little. Just me

Good morning Just Me and Botters!
Just me, your meals look good.  I know my problem is with the amount of food that I think that I am eating.  I now try to weigh everthing.  I have a lot of "head hunger" so now I'm trying to supplement with 1/2 c. of protein drinks between my meals.  I'm determined to lose these 40 lbs!!!
I'm back from my 5 days of shopping, laughing and relaxing with friends, up in Gurnee.  We hit 3 large malls, with LOTS of walking!  We've been doing our "Girls Weekend" for the past 18 years.  As we've gotten older, we've extended our "weekend" to include a few more days.  So back on track today with working out later this afternoon.  My food plan:
Breakfast - scrambled egg w/bacon & 1 slice of l.c. toast.
Snacks if necessary - protein drinks
Lunch - turkey and cheese roll
Dinner - chicken w/roasted veggies
Nighttime snack - fage
I hope that everyone has a great day!
Deb
