I'm on board with you too, Deb. I keep it to 1575 calories today. I am logging my food on OH healthtracker. So glad I found this group. It is nice to know that others are keeping it together over the holidays. I have ALWAYS gained between Nov. and Feb. It seems that my holiday starts with Halloween and doesn't end until Valentines day. Or maybe my body fattens up for the cold winter like a bear going into hibernation. I would just love to be back in my size 12 clothes by January. I am only 5' 4" so that is still pretty chubby so I should be able to get there. Hope you had a great day. thanks for posting. Just me,
I also have a hard time during the colder weather.  Plus, I LOVE to bake!  A friend once told me, that a
"Holiday" is just a "day".  It's not days, weeks or months.  I remind myself that when a special "day" comes up, that it's just ONE Day!
Keep on BOTTing!

Where is the OH health tracker?  Sounds like a tool I need!

I love steel cut oatmeal and have a recipe from an OH lady that includes some protein powder, some cranberries and wee bit of apple.  It is delicious but I get terrible gas from it!  Maybe I should try some Beano before eating it!

My food yesterday was awful so it's confession time :(

Breakfast: glazed donut w/coffee
Lunch: 1/2 Burger King whopper
Dinner: Pork w/sauerkraut and bit of mashed potatoes
Then the nighttime snacking begins:  2 bowls of Kashi high protein (not all at once but throughout the night), cole slaw (I'm really craving this lately)

I've been sick and taking steroids for the past 3 days for breathing issues so I'm gaining water weight as well. Now that I've laid out my sinful ways maybe I can start making changes.  This past year has been so stressful with job loss, loss of home along with loss of confidence and self esteem, let alone hope.

I'll be posting daily just to keep myself in check and to get and offer support.

Hi Diane,
Welcome to BOTT!
It made me smile, when I read your post.  We've all had those days!  I absolutely love Kashi Go Lean, but I can't stop eating it!   So it can't be in my house.
Looking forward to reading your posts.
Keep on BOTTing!

Don't panic...it's the steroids. This too shall pass, all you can do is the best you can. I am so glad you are posting too. I have about the same amount to lose as you do. It seems like so far away. I know it will take me a year and it's nice to have more company.

The OH healthtracker is on your profile page in the upper left hand corner. You click on it and then look for the tab that says nutrition. Then you click on edit health tracker and start adding food. If that doesn't work ask again for help.

I am sorry about your job and house. So many of our friends and family have lost jobs. I just hope you can keep the hope and self esteme up. Stuff is only stuff. It doesn't make us happy except for a moment when we buy it. When my mother-in-law passed away, her stuff became a burden for the family to dispose of. You are not defined by your job. Maybe you can use this time to pull it together and de-stress yourself. Get yourself healthy again.

Look forward to reading your posts.
