My 6 year WLS anniversary!!

Wow it has been six years since I had WLS!!  10/26/2004 I had weight loss surgery and it changed my life forever.  It flew by so quickly and what a journey it has been.   I have managed to keep off over 200 pounds and I will lose another 140 pounds within the next 2 years.

This year since March I have lost 33 of 80 pounds gained over the last 3 years.  I am so proud of this accomplishment.  It has not been easy and has taken great effort to persevere.  This will be the 1st year in 3 years that I have not gained weight.  Whoohooo!!

I love taking this time to reflect because at times I get discouraged because I wanted that number to be higher.  But on days like today I see that 33 pounds down is SO much better than gaining.

This is just one of the very best gifts I could have given ME.

Thanks again for support this year as I continue my journey to get healthier and make permanent lifestyle changes.

Have a great day!

Congratulations Molly!
Today is my 4 year anniversary and I am inspired by your success and hard work.

I never got close to my original goal and have gained 20 lbs. from my lowest since surgery.

I need to re-commit and get back on track, and I am trying.  I did not realize how difficult it would be.  I appreciate your daily inspirations and think you are VERY SUCCESSFUL.

You have every reason to be proud!

You can do it Dawn!!  Yes it is hard but it is worth the struggle.  If you have already stopped gaining that is the 1st step, You will have ups and downs but not giving up is key.  Expect imperfection.  No all or nothing thinking.  Put away that stinking thinking.  Consistency and not perfection is going to get you to your goals.   Please feel free to contact me anytime.   I can not tell you this is easy and I even found out why it is so hard to re-lose weight.

Believe you can do it and you will!

Congratulations!  It is so easy to forget that healthier lifestyle forever is what we are aiming for.  I found it took a few years to understand that, too.  Patience and perseverance is what matters.  Just me
