Processed foods and addiction

Yikes! On the net tonight I ran across this article and almost fell off my chair. This really hit home - I'm not cured of anything. I still am eating what I used to (processed stuff) just in much smaller amounts.

Have a look and comment. This is scary stuff.

Rudie, I absolutely agree.
I do try to eat simple foods.  I try to limit food that have stuff in them that is "hard to pronaunce".
I do try to eat as natural as I can.
lately I even eliminated most food that have artificial sweeteners and flavors.
I still eat "processed' food: protein powder (all natural though), cheese, milk, yogurt, processed meat, etc.
But I gave up on most proetin bars, and other protein snacks.  I bake my own protein cookies, and if I buy any "quick" food, I try to make sure that it has mostly natural ingrediance.
I also try to use a lot of organic foods.  (when my budget allows and when I think it is important).

I use Stevia as a choice for my sweetener.  I do not belive that things like splenda or other SF stuff is good for us.

Rudie2,
Good article.  It makes you think about all of the "good" things, that you "think", you put in your mouth!
