Good Morning Everyone!      Can you believe it is hump day already?

How was your day yesterday?  What are your plans for today?

Yesterday was another mind boggling day at the office and then I took my first yoga class.  Boy Oh Boy do I need to work on stretching, flexing, etc.  I really, really need to work on my abs, too.  The class was an hour long and was to see how "fit" the class was as a whole so the instructor would know where to start with us.  It is a beginner class and I am so glad that I am able to do a lot of the moves she showed us.  But do need to work on everything!  When we finished my legs felt like jello.  But all in all, I really enjoyed the class.  We had representation of all age groups for both male and female.  I woke up this morning and could feel slight aches everywhere.

I will really push the fluids again, that was a subject our instructor told us was so very important for our muscles.  So now I have several reasons to drink buckets of water and herbal tea.  I did get in almost 3 qts in yesterday, so I have increased my fluids a great deal this last week.

Yesterday I did go off my food plan for dinner.  My yoga partner and I had Waffle House for dinner after class.  I LOVE breakfast for dinner.  Those scrambled eggs and bacon tasted so very good.

Today I hope to finish mowing my lawn after work and will count that as my exercise since I have a couple of steep inclines to mow.  No riding mowing for this girl.

My food plan:

1. Click/Choc Protein/PB2/Banana frapp
2. Pumpkin Protein muffin
3. meatballs, sauce and cottage cheese bake
4. Oatmeal protein cookies and jerky
5. Bean and sausage stoup
6. Protein frapp (probably a blueberry lemon)

I think next time I bake and cook, I will freeze half so I am not eating the same thing all week long.

Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Good morning!
Goody, I'm so excited for you!  Was it really hard to follow the yoga class?  I've been looking for a beginning class, the doctor said that it would be helpful with my back problems.  It looks like we're in store for another beautiful day in Chicago!  I was on a roll yesterday with cleaning and getting all of my cabinets in order.  So today I can spend the day with doing some shopping and having lunch with a good friend.  My food for today:
Breakfast - eggs
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - chicken salad
Snack - veggies w/hummus
Dinner - pot roast w/grilled veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel
I hope that everyone has a great day!

Deb,

It was difficult, but very challanging.  The instructor suffers from Lupus and told us each person would be able to do different moves at different levels and some would never be able to do certain movements.  We would only be able to excell to the point of the fitness we had as children.  Well, I sat with a book through my childhood.  Line dancing was difficult for me last spring, I never got past the part fo counting so moving to the flow of the music was not something I understood.  Saying all that, I am looking forward to my next class on Thurs. night.

Enjoy your of shopping and lunch with your friend.
