Monday Cardio and Cafe
Good Morning Everyone!
I don't know about everyone else, but for me, Monday comes a lot faster then Friday ever did!
There is never enough time to get everything done that needs to be done in the too short weekend. I was able to get outside to enjoy the weather yesterday. It was so nice not the have the breathtaking humidity and a nice breeze. I also experimented again in my kitchen with some protein pumpkin muffins. I used to love baking prior to WLS and since I do not tolerate neither sugar or flour, I thought my baking days were going to be limited. I have finally found some substitutions that just might work for all my old recipes and actually make them a lot healthier for everyone. I just need to see if they pass the test with my DH.
Today will be packed full of meetings at work. I will make a real effort to get in all my fluids and stick to my food plan.

2. Pumpkin Protein muffin
3. Bean and smoked sausage stoup
4. Protein Oatmeal cookies and jerky
5. meatballs, tomato sauce and cottage cheese
6. grape salad

I agree with Goody, Monday does come around a lot faster. The weekends are just too short. Restarted my 5DPT today yesterday was not a good day. Too much time in the malls. Feeling pretty good so I hope all goes well.
Goody you'll have to post the recipes for the Pumpkin Protein Muffin and the Protein Oatmeal cookies. I haven't had the meatballs and cottage cheese in a while.
My plan today is Day one of the 5DPT. So far so good.

L - Maryland Crab Soup (didn't bring my Split Pea & Ham)

I am in agreement on too short weekends!
Vitamins: yes, but left calcium home, will take it late Fluids: working it, Exercise: Wallking - I'm going to miss being able to walk outside when the weather turns foul. So for now I'm going to enjoy it!
