Good Morning Everyone!
How was your day yesterday? How does your day look today?
Wow! I just read some of the posts from the later part of yesterday and they really hit some nerves for me. Have you all been reading my mind? There was so much " food for thought " posted. I realize that I really need to get back to the basics. I need to push the protein first rule and make sure I am getting in my liquids. I need to be grateful for all the progress I have made in the last 3.5 years and look at the positive and not dwell on the negative. So from today forward, I challenge myself to start each morning with positive thoughts and I will review my earlier food journals so that I can get back to the basics that worked for me. As another poster noted "Rome was not built in a Day" and I will need to take "one step at a time".
My plan for today:
1. Click, Choc. Protein, PB2 frosty
2. Beef jerky nuggets, 1/2 protein bar
3. Shrimp w/ chili sauce
4. Chocolate Protein shake (RTD)
5. TBD (Sweet 16 Birthday celebration at On The Border) I promise NO chips/salsa
6. Homemade protein cookies or protein frosty (depends on what I have at restaurant/may skip)
I will make sure I get in all my supplements and at least 70-80 oz. water/herbal tea.

i did good yesterday but could have been better! i started off with an english muffin w/pb then some grilled chx for lunch protein shake for a snack and some cheese and crackers with 5 darn french fries for dinner and 1/2 can of coke! oh im a little mad that i gave in to the fries but i stopped right away when i realized i was ruining my good day. and i love coke with all my heart but only took 2 drinks and dumped it out. it's like i know what to do and not do but sometimes my cravings overcome my brain!
all in all i kept track of my intake and got in 80 oz of water and i walked 50 minutes!
900 cal/20fat/45 protein so heres off to another day!

11am: bagel thin with turkey, avocado and roasted peppers; grape tomatoes; fruit
1pm: starbucks skim pumpkin spice latte
3pm: greek yogurt with berries
6pm: sirloin steak with potatoes and carrots.
8pm: ???
Looking for new ideas for snacks as I'm getting tired of my PM Kashi and nuts. Suggestions?

Breakfast - fage w/splenda
Snack - almonds
Lunch - 1/2 ham and cheese on low carb bread
Snack - veggies w/cream cheese
Dinner - pork chop w/grilled veggies
Snack - Breyers low carb ice cream

I have to say I did pretty good last night. I got all my water in, Follow the drinking rule, Did a walking tape, wrote everything down. I did not follow the meal plan I made out for yesterday, but one from several days ago. My husband got everything together for me so I could get a extra 1/2 hour of sleep. He is so great. plan for when I get up:
1) walking tape
2) drink my water
3) take my medication
4) write everything down

L -black bean soup
S- protien shake
D- eggs with salsa, beans and cheese
S- cheese stick
