Back On Track Together
Monday Cardio and Cafe (Where has Everyone been?)
Good Morning Everyone!
It is Monday again once more. Where does the time go?
I know I have been MIA for the last few days, life just took over all my time.
Last week I had to take my DH for his annual cardiac check-up at Duke University. He has been a case study since his heart valve replacement in 2003. We always learn so much during these visits. 1. Everyone must make sure they get in their water. Water is so very important for our heart to function properly and we need to increase our intake during the hot weather. 2. Exercise is NOT optional for weight maintenance. It is an absolute MUST.
Then when we got home from Duke, we found our AC was not working. Fortunately we have been on a service contract and the repairman was able to come that same day and it only needed a simple fix that cost less than $20 in parts. It took more than 12 hours to cool our house down again!
I made lots of cool foods for my meals at work this week and will pick up some bottled waters on my way to work this morning. So I should be prepared for the rest of the week.
My plan for today:
1. Click/Protein/PB2/Almond milk frappe
2. hard boiled eggs (2)
3. Salad w/ crab meat
4. grape salad w/protein powder
5. meeting at a Chinese buffet (probably crab and veggies)
6. depends on what I eat at buffet
Hope you all have a FANTASTIC Monday!

Trying to get back on track. a very emotional spring led to some emotional eating. I was laid off from a job I loved. Said some painful goodbyes to friends. I did get another job with a huge paycut. Trying to remember in this economy at least I have a job. I have only gained ten pounds but need to nip it in the bud. I don't want it to lead to more. Going to be logging on to OH more.
