Back On Track Together
Let me introduce myself :)
Hi my name is Sabrina. I will be five years out in October.....and needless to say over the last five years there has been many ups and downs. My lowest was 128lbs at 5'7" so I guess I was a bit thin but that is what depression can do to you....and now im at my highest 158lbs im not happy at this weight and well my clothes dont fit right-so this is more about getting "healthy" than wanting to lose weight ...I want to get toned and be able to exercise and as soon as I get the anemia in check I hope to be able to do just that....:-) love the fact that there are others still out there making this pouch thingie work! thank you
There are three ways of dealing with difference: domination, compromise and integration. By domination only one side gets what it wants; by integration we find a way by which both sides may get what they wish.........
Welcome Sabrina! You have taken a big step to write about your experience, and I commend you! You are not alone I promise. I'm close to 5 years out this September and life has thrown me it's curve balls for sure, but we can conquer through them, and so many on here have showed that and have been victorious.
I'm with you, it's about being healthy. My surgeon said in a seminar years ago that "This journey is about health and well being, the great side affect is that your body looks great" He is absolutely right.
PLEASE keep us posted on your journey!
