The Dark Side

Hi Everyone,

I've been in "the dark side" lately.  Struggling with emotional eating, grazing, meal planning and of course exercise.  Trying to claw my way out.  I"m up 8 pounds from goal and hating myself over it.  Need help/support so that I can get "BACK ON TRACK".

hate will not help you.
Love will. Do you love yourself enough to stop doing what you know will hurt you?  what would you tell your best friend if she was hurting herself? 
Now - love yourself - give yourself a hug, embrace the emotional, needy "you" and tell her it is OK. That she does not need food.  And that you love here always. 

Also- i am reading now " eat it up" - and some paragraphs and chapters i have to read over and over - because part of me does not do hear the message...
or Dr Beck Diet solution.

Now- - do not go and "try" to follow the pouch roles - but - "Do follow the pouch rules"  
 Try to realize what are you missing and trying to fill the void with food... and then - stop trying - we know it dos not work.  The only thing you will fill -up - is your body fat cells.  The emotions will be still there - and you add emotions of guilt and hate.

H2O has some great advice.  Take it and RUN with it!

Yes, this is some fantastic advice.  Now, I just need to wrap my head around it and do what I need to do.  That's the hard part.

Welcome to BOTT! I can't add much to the post you have received already.  But I will add we are not ever going to be perfect.  We will have a relapse on occasion. We just need to pray it is not long and we don't add too many pounds on.  Remember my 3 P's, Perseverance, Positive and Patience.  See my blog!
