 Hey Botts,

How's it going?  I had a great day with eating, vitamins and working out.  Did extra cardio to offset the nibbling of carbs the day before

I was watching The Today's Show and this was a great feature about what we eat and exercise.  Which is better.  I found it interesting that it depended on what we were trying to achieve.  I still think the  bottom line is both but found this a great source of information.

So how is your day going?  Are you struggling?  Doing AWESOME!  Come on in and be accountable, share and inspire!

Take care,
Kathy

I am doing great.  Today is raining and it is my day off yoga. Food intake still good. Good proteins, and some good fats and carbs.
During lunch I decided to go shopping to one of "nearly new" stores... I go there maybe 1-3 x a year, since they're open during normal business hours and I work.  So - as a surprise all woman clothng were 50% off, just today.... I was very happy.  I spent $40 and got 4 dresses, 6 shirts,  a jacket... So - I am a happy person today.  And all this shopping and trying on things - and the happiness - probably resulted in some weight loss...

I regained 5 lbs of the 10 Iost during the stomach flu, but I am still under 150, and the rest will come off later.  As long as I am under 150 and size 6 pants are loose - I am happy.

Hi Kathy and fellow BOTT challengers,

I am on my 4th day and BOTT.  It feels great to have some control over my eating again. When I replaced that evening snacking with decaf coffee or tea it helps to hydrate me and does not leave feeling bloated or uncomfortable during the night.  I feel empowered.

Thanks to everyone for the inspirations and helping be accountable.

Have a GREAT weekend.

This week was one of my most successful since transitioning from night work to day.  Carrying my "Survival Bag" and eating what's in it has been the key.  We have a full service cafeteria, and I found that there Vegetarian Mediterranean Chop Salad which I love is very high in calories.  It contains walnuts, feta cheese, dried cranberries and Mandarin oranges is delicious but not as low calorie as I would like to believe.  Making my own, has really made a difference.

Since having my surgery I have a new found respect for those that have had the surgery and able to reach their goal weight while dealing with the temptations of food during the day.  My prayer is too continue in my successful eating pattern and get to my goal weight before the end of the year.

Peace & Blessings,

My husband is on travel for work but my 2 year old and I found ways to get out and exercise all week.  Without having someone here to help I've had to be creative in finding ways to get my exercise in. So far I'm doing good.
