Wednesday Cardio & Cafe

Good Morning Everyone!  

How are you today?  What are your plans for the day?

I had a WONDERFUL day yesterday.  Nothing exciting happened, I just finally feel more myself.
It just amazes me how much easier it is to deal with your normal daily obstacles when are feeling well.

Like Deb, I find that having the protein shakes and/or Frapps makes things so much easier to be compliant.  So Yesterday, I did alter my original plan after my breakfast and had protein shakes until dinner time.  Then after dinner I only allowed myself herbal tea and decaf coffee throughout the evening.  This seemed to work well yesterday so I will work on the same for today.  If I feel the need to chew, I have several alternatives at the office so I can make wise choices.

My plan for today is:

1. coffee w/protein creamer
2. Click, protein, almond milk shake
3. HW protein drink
4. Protein, PB2, almond milk shake
3. HW protein drink
5. Turkey burger and steamed veggies
6. All the herbal tea and/or decaf coffee I desire

I will get in at least 64 oz of plain water between my protein and make sure all my supplements are taken.

I am ready to take on this "Humpday" and all it has to offer me today.

Good morning Goody and fellow BOTT'ers!

It's Wednesday. YAY!!! Only two more days til the weekend...

Things are going well since I've started BOTT. I'm working toward my 40 pound loss mark!

I saw my RNY surgeon yesterday and he is very pleased with my results. In the past month, I've lost 11.5 pounds (since my last office visit). Originally he told me that he would be happy if I lost 4-6 pounds a month. I told him that I am working out like a fiend and not eating much between 400-600 calories a day. I am having the DS because I can't eat like that for the rest of my life. Soon, I won't be losing anything because my body will get used to the lesser amounts. I am just trying to get in the best shape for my revision. He has taken my decision a lot better since I made my decision. He even agreed to propvide follow-up care after my DS. I am so happy about that.

My revision to a DS is scheduled for August 25th in San Francisco.

OK, enough said. Here's today meal plan:
B - 1 jumbo hard boiled egg with baby carrots and radish slices.
L - fresh shrimp over a mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.
D - not sure yet....
S - chocolate rice cake with 1 TBS peanut butter; Dannon Lite & Fit Yogurt.

Today's exercise, 41 minutes on the elliptical, burning 435 calories and 3.4 miles. Just like doing a 5K!!

Vitamins per schedule and lots of water. It's going to be a great BOTT day.

Hi Deb.

It's been a rocking 3 months. I'm getting stronger day by day. My cravings for carbs is under control. I know that this is worth everything to me.

Thanks for writing me. I am less than 100 days away from my revision. Life will be  better after I get through the first 6 weeks post-op.

Goody,
I just had to comment on your protein shakes for today... 
omg.gifI made the same exact shakes yesterday, both the click, protein, almond and then the PB2, almond and protein!  The only difference is that I used s.f. toffee in one and s.f. kaluah(sp?)in the click drink.
And the crazy thing is that I didn't go into detail yesterday, so my question is...
Were you spying on me?

Didn't you know that I have super human powers?  

Seriously, I love, love, love my shakes.  They help get hydrated, protein and I feel like I have a real treat!  It is the perfect food for me.

Try vanilla protein powder, 1 Tbls of SF lemon pudding mix, and frozen blueberries or strawberries.  Talk about YUMMO.
