good idea i bought some greek yogurt just it has like 150 cal but the protein is between 14 - 20 grams...going to try that tonight...will post my meal plan on cafe...

I keep beef jerkey on hand and since it takes so long to chew it, it tricks my mind into thinking I'm eating more. I buy a lowfat/fat free kind and it's really high in protein.
My surgeon says that our protein should be 10% of our calories and he said to keep it under 100 grams of carbs. So for 1257 calories, you should have more like 120g protein.

ok today i have
calories 881
carbs 66
protein 122 is that ok...
does the protein always have to be 10% of cal? can it be more? is there a certain amount of calories per day we should not go under / over like was thinking of keeping my cal under 1200
i am not done loosing...and while i was preg i just ate what i wanted and i cant do that now ....

My guidelines from my surgeon are
1. 100 oz of non-caffinated fluid
2. less than 100 g carbs
3. Shoot for 100 g of protein
4. 1200-1500 calories
He also says that we should eat only high protein foods (not including fruit and veggies) and a high protein food means that 10% of the calorie value is atleast protein. So 100 cals, 10g protein. This is just something he says to help you rule out what foods are really high protein foods. More is great! Less is ok on occasion.
Your totals look good but you are going to need more cals to still loose. I am trying to shoot for 12-1500. If you eat too little, your body goes into "starvation mode" and will store anything you eat as fat b/c it is afraid you won't get anymore again.

SOO I COULD ADD IN A PROTEIN SHAKE WHICH WOULD INCREASE THE CAL BY 200 AND THE PROTEIN 22 ...CARBS BY 13 FOR THE SHAKE I USE..
