Good Morning Everyone!

We are getting some much needed rain here.  I am hoping it will continue with a steady drizzle through today.  I would love to have some green grass in my lawn.  The crunchy straw that exists now is not very eye appealing.  I will gladly deprive myself of my beloved sunshine if we can get some rain in the next few days.

Yesterday I was a little short on the water and consumed a few more "snacks" than planned.  I find although I do stick to food that is "good" for me, I seem to eat a little mindlessly mostly in the evening.  I really need to work on this and see if I can substitute some hydration for my "snacks".  I love herbal teas and have a whole cabinet of choices, so I will try to incorporated some soothing hot tea in my evenings.

The atmosphere at the office seems to have calmed down.  But I think I have been so stressed for so long, I can't seem to find my way.  I think I will need to really concentrate on relaxing my "guard".

Well enough rambling, it seems to me I am only making excuses for unacceptable behavior.

I have purchased the book that "Happy" recommended " 50 Ways to soothe yourself without food" and will be working on the inner me.

I have decided that my summer challenge will be to loose a size in clothing.

Today my plan is as follows:

1. coffee w/protein creamer
2. egg salad
3. low fat cheese and chocolite protein bar
4. "imitation crab" and sliced tomato
5. protein shake
6. chicken and steamed veggies
7. protein hot chocolate

+ 64 oz water then herbal tea and  all my supplements
Hope Everyone has a WONDERFUL Tuesday!

Good morning Goody and BOTTers,
Hey Goody, let me know how that book is.  I just got
Women, Food and God, by Geneen Roth.  The author was on Oprah last week.  We'll see...  O.K., I'll be hitting the gym for my cardio later this afternoon.  This morning, I'll be planting and carrying bags of mulch, so that will be my strength training.  My food will be pretty much the same as yesterday:
Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks - protein drinks (I'm really loving them lately, I've been experimenting)
Dinner - pork chop w/veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel
I hope that everyone has a great day!

Hello Goody & BOTT Family,

I'm ready to get back into the swing of things.  Finally adjusting to day work and for the first time slept a complete 8 hours.

Lost my Personal Trainer, he decided to close his studio, said he needed to focus more on himself whatever that means.  I was upset about it, but I joined a 24 hour gym and plan to hit it later on this evening.

Along with my exercise challenge I hope to put down the Crystal Light and start drinking more water something that I don't do now; don't like the taste but I guess I'll get over it.
