First Day of Summer Challenge - The 5 "P"'s principle
Happy Tuesday! Have you ever heard of the 5 "P"'s principle? Well it applied to me yesterday. I had one of those days.....

I don't know what got into me, it was a brain fart day. I had forgotten to get some oatmeal at the store (if I start my day with my oatmeal, I am on my way). Then didn't lay out my fish for dinner. I found other things but if I don't plan and execute my plan I just don't do as well. Just me folks, but by now WE know ourselves really well
So today I have my food planned and "laid" out, already did 3 miles on the treadmill, ate my oatmeal and the sun is shinning! So what more could we ask for? Well winning the lottery but that is for another post

Today i decided that I need to prepare my clothes the night before. this morning- it took me 15 min to get the right outfit. So I was late to work. I need to set my clothes the day before and they just put them on and go. That will allow me the extra 15 - 30 min that I could spend on me.
As for the summer goals: since I committed to the goals - last night I signed up and paid (ouch) for a full month of yoga. So now - being a practical person - I need to get there at least 3-4 times a week to get my money's worth. No more excuses that i am out of time or cash. Paid- done. Now - need to get my butt there. And I did yesterday.

I have 4 days off a week so there is no reason not to go. There are so many classes and things to do at the gym. It's people like me. Not a bunch of "muscle heads" like the last gym I went to. I had no motivation to go. I think this will be fun!
I have to work on my food plan now. Planning is my biggest problem. I hate to pin myself down to certain foods but I know that if I "fail to plan, I plan to fail"!

I was reading your post and trying to watch tv at the same time, when I saw your 5 P's.� I was slowly tabbing down from the first P and thought, did I just read **** Poor Performance?� It really got my attention and had to laugh!� It's so true, if you don't plan, you can't perform.
I did really well yesterday.� I've been really experimenting and enjoying my protein shakes.� It's just so much easier for me and my pouch.� I'm not bloated and feeling weighed down.� I've also started taking my vitamins and have added probiotics to my�diet.� It really does help!!!

I added some probiotics to my regimine too and it has really helped my system a lot. I really am glad I did it.
I went today for my consultation at the gym and I was just so overwhelmed with the different machines there are for me to work out on plus all the classes I can go to. I'm going to my first water aerobics class on Friday morning. I'll let you know how it goes. It should be interesting if I don't drown! LOL!
I'm going to start writing my food down again. I don't know why I have such a problem with keeping that up! I seem to have a mental thing about it. I'm such a perfectionist! I'm so afraid it won't be right!
