Monday Cardio and Cafe
Good Morning Everyone!
How was your weekend? What are your plans for the upcoming week?
I spent the weekend just taking care of my weekly chores. I had been feeling out of sorts all of last week so I concentrated on making sure my body stayed hydrated and I had all my supplements. I gave in and took a nap both Saturday and Sunday even with my 9 hours of sleep each night. Usually if I take a nap, I find it hard to sleep at night, but not this weekend.
Hopefully, I just needed the extra sleep. This morning I woke up and can finally say that sluggish and achey feeling is gone.
I never thought I would be grateful that there is no sun predicted for today, but lots of rain. We desperately need the rain. My lawn is dried out and already straw. We are already in a more than 5 inch deficit for rain here in the Sandhills.
Today I have plans to keep my food high in protein, make sure I stay hydrated and take all supplements.
1. Coffee w/protein creamer
2. egg salad
3. 2 oz of left-over steak and garden peas
4. 2 low-fat cheese sticks
5. HW mango mingle
6. imitation crab meat and sliced tomato
7. Protein frapp
Hope you all have a Wonderful Monday!

Good morning Goody and fellow BOTT'ers.
I'd be happy to send you some of our left over water from the downpours we had last Thursday!
Tonight I am going to another support meeting for DS'ers. This is a requirement for all pre-ops.
The weekend went fast. Saturday was weigh****chers and I'm happy to say that I lost 4.8 pounds this week. I tried to get my health tracker updated but always get an error message at the bottom of the page. I sent a message to OH about it . Anyhow, I've lost 36 pounds since BOTT. YAY!! I haven't been this weight since the beginning of 2008 so that is something to be happy about!
I've been working out 6 days a week and upped my elliptical to 40 minutes. Yikes, I didn't think I would ever be able to go for so long! That's me working hard to burn over 400 calories a session.
I sure will be a lightweight for my revision to a DS. Most importantly, I will be more healthy going into surgery.
Today's meal plan:
B- cottage cheese with radish slices.
L - turkey burger over a mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.
D - protein drink on the road.
S - Dannon Lite & Fit Yogurt.
Vitamins and water....
I'll be tired tomorrow morning since I've got the support meeting tonight. Tomorrow I see my RNY surgeon for my monthly check-up.
My trip to Austria is only 33 days away and at least I will be the same weight or less since I was there back in 1972.
Well, that's all folks!
Have a great BOTT day. I definitely will!
Lucy
