Good Morning Everyone!

After a WONDERFUL weekend, I started the week off yesterday feeling a little out of sorts.  I was able to go to work, but as soon as I got home and consumed a protein drink it was off to bed with me.  This morning I am feeling more myself .

For Mother's Day my DH surprised me with a completed "honeydew" list.  My sweet husband is a true "Nerd".  He works in the wholesale electrical supply business so he does have some knowledge of electrical work, but when it comes to plumbing, well we usually hire a plumber.  On Sunday we rode our motorcycles to Waffle House and shared my favorite cheesy eggs breakfast.  After a morning of riding the countryside surrounding Fayetteville, we finished up our travel with a stop for some "Starbucks". YUM.  When we returned home, he replaced my kitchen faucet and garbage disposal unit.  Then he repaired a kitchen cabinet door and presented me with a new floor lamp.  The faucet has been leaking for months, the garbage disposal has been dead for more than a year, the cabinet door has not closed completely for several weeks and my floor lamp has been shorting out since forever!  He fininshed his list by touching up my livingroom ceiling where we had a water leak before the roof was replaced earlier this year.

There were no flowers but this was by far the best gift my sweetie could have given me.  Everything works too!  Usually when he attempts any plumbing it will cost us more than double for a plumber to come in and repair his attempts.

For today, I will make sure I get in all my fluids, vitamins and protein needs.  I have a lunch meeting so my meal plan itself is left up in the air until lunch.  I will plan the remainder of the day around my lunch and start my day off with a protein shake.

Wishing each and everyone a WONDERFUL Tuesday!

Good Morning Goody & BOTT Family,

WOW, that sounds like both a romantic and wonderful weekend.  I too had a really good weekend.  I didn't have a sweetie to spend it with but I had Mother's Day Dinner at my house and we had a great time.  I of course ate more than I should have, but I still enjoyed my Mother, my family and my day just the same.

Couldn't get it together yesterday, we had a lunch meeting and clearing out my fridge for all the food I prepared on Sunday didn't leave me room for my usual staples, but I'm back on track today and looking forward to a great and successful week. Promised myself and noticed that when I wrote in my personal journal, I had more success in my weight loss journey.  Hope to put aside sometime today to write some very important things I need to focus on.

Hope all have a great day.
I am drinking hot tea w/honey and lemon while nursing an ear ache.  Hopefully its just a warning sign that I've caught in time because this usually leads to a sore throat.  My plan is to gargle w/salted warm water and vicks my throat.
Food is not on my mind right now but I have a couple of boiled eggs, a chike protein drink, protein chicken soup and some other fixins available to plan a healthy menu for today.

Take care,
Z

This is my first post to cardio and cafe. I'm a litle nervous cause I have no idea what I'll be eating but I'll give it a shot.

B- Protein shake
L- Protein shake
     cheese stick
S- Greek yogurt
D- Baked tilapia with lemon pepper
     Green beans
S- Greek yogurt

Not sure about protein, carb counts, etc. But I'm sure the protein is over what  I need for weight loss since the shakes are 30 gms each and the greek yogurt is 12 gms protein each. I need to look at my carb count. All of this is for weight loss. I'll start looking more at calories, etc.....

I'm going to start "loving myself" more! Thanks happy!

Everyone have a wonderful day!

Janie - Use the food tracker here on OH (or there are a number of other sites as well) and let it figure the nutritional components for you.  I need to plan specifically, write my plan down (I use a food tracker) and then I find it's much easier to stay on track.  Many many years ago when Weigh****chers was quite new, our leader taught us, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail"  I've pretty much found that to be the case.  Just another way to love yourself.

Good morning.  I am having a hard time without caffeine and trying to deal with bland food for the ulcer. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue and I feel hungover most mornings and I don't even drink.  I'm trying some green tea and hoping it doesn't kick me in the pouch.

Protein shake
Flax muffin
Protein shake

Cottage cheese/sunflower seeds/ham/turkey

Protein shake

Not sure about dinner... something bland.

Forgot my vitamins and don't feel up to even moving at all.

Good morning Goody and fellow BOTT'ers!

I've been so busy either at work or home. Last week no weight loss. Ugh!! Even though I was 100% with my birthday and 2 day seminar. And, there was a lot of carbs and sweets available.

I do have my revision surgery date for a DS. It's August 25th with Dr. Rabkin in San Francisco. I am so excited. Only 105 days until surgery.

It's weeks like this that I know that I made the right decision. My body is fighting the weight loss and I am sick and tired of it!

My exercise on the elliptical has been increased up to 40 minutes. Yikes, I never thought I could go for so long without stopping.  Of course, I sweat like a pig!

Today's meal plan:

B - 1 jumbo hard boiled egg with radishes and tomato slices.
L - sliced lean pork loin over mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.
D - not sure yet.
S - chocolate rice cake with 1 TBS peanut butter.

Here's to another great BOTT day!
