Back On Track Together
Friday Cardio and Cafe
Good Morning Everyone! TGIF!
I don't think I would have made it if there was one more work day to this week! I am really looking forward to the weekend and some down time.
Today will be another day of catch up at the office . I have made myself a huge fresh salad for lunch that I have topped off with imitation crab meat, along with some of the strawberries I purchased at the Farmers Market earlier this week. I have stocked my work pantry with lots of mini-meal options and have found that when I just keep it stocked and chose as I go, I seem to be much more satisfied and less rebellious.
Tomorrow we will start the weekend with eye exams. I really thought that weight loss would have helped with my vision. Since surgery I have had to change my eye glass prescription every year due to vision changes. I can tell that I will probably have another change again this year too. But I am so thankful that I have my sight. 22 yrs ago when I was diagnosed with PTC, I was told I would probably be blind within 2 yrs. The good Lord made sure I found good sound medical advise so that I could prove miracles do happen. I will gladly wear glasses for the rest of my life.
I hope to check out the Farmers Market here in Fayetteville tomorrow morning also. We have one Saturday morning and Wednesday afternoons. I never remember to go until the day after, but hopefully I will remember to make that trip tomorrow. I love this time of the year and all the fresh produce that is available.
On Sunday I hope to be able to ride motorcycles in the morning before traffic becomes too thick. I always feel so "free" while riding in the early part of the day. Of course we will make sure to include a trip to the "buck" for a Soy coffee frappe.
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Friday!
Happy Mother's Day to all our WONDERFUL mothers.

All I can manage is just to check in this morning. I have a stiff neck - not just your regular, garden variety stiff neck, but major pain. Hope I don't fall asleep at my desk as it's taking a pretty potent pain killer to get een a little relief.
No exercise - except lifting my eyelids Food will be as planned - fotunately I wrote it down as I'm not sure I could generate a food plan this morning.
Happy Mothers Day to those who are one and those who had one.
Good morning BOTTers!
I woke up to some LOUD thunderstorms and a 50 lb. shar pei trying to get into my bed. I can tell that it's going to be a long day! I'll be hitting the gym later this morning. My food for today:
Breakfast - fage w/lean kashi
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - veggies w/fresh ground peanuts
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel
Hope that everyone has a great day!

Hey everyone. Happy Friday and Happylapbander I hope you are feeling better soon. I ended up with a run to the ER from work this past Wednesday thanks to some pineapple and now I am being treated for ulcer and gastritis. I have got to tell you I HATE going to the ER, but this pain was so intense and would not let up and I wasn't sure if I could stand it and live. Luckily I did. Got taken to the wrong hospital even after telling them more than once to take me to Carmel St. Vincent's. So now, I'm on a 'bland diet' with no spice, tomato, citrus, or the like. I really miss my coffee.
My plan for today is:
Protein shake
Protein shake
Turkey breast/cottage cheese
Protein bar
Tilapia or vegetarian skallops
I'm not sure what else. I didn't get to eat much yesterday, so I'm a little hungry.
I'm on Prilosec and Carafate - and boy, is Carafate ever expensive! $201.42 for a month supply...
I have heria repair June 7 for a paraumbilical hernia and life is just a joy. Well, it beat the heck out of the alternative, anyway. Due to emotional eating and TOM my weight has been up and not back down to where it was yet. I'm not sure if the gastritis is making me retain fluid or what, but it's definitely fluid retention of a major variety.
