ok so my life has taken a turn for the better ... i have stopped obsessing about food cut out the mindless eating , completed the 5 day pouch test , and got back to basics . Added 1 hour of walking and it has paid off !!!!!!!
i refused to weigh myself until day 21 ... and OMG  DOWN 23 POUNDS !!!!!

what an awesome feeling .. the 65 lbs i regained are 1/3 of the way gone .. WOOT WOOT !!

oh .. i must mention that Don , the love of my life has been the most encouraging , supportive and loving man on the face of the earth .. i truly believed that when i divorced  i would never find anyone who could give me everything i wanted . Laughter , love , care , and a partnership ... what an amazing feeling ..... think the 2 are realted ??? lol

Thanks botters !!!!

It has been a while since I have been on but how inspiring to me....Congratulations!! I started again today and decided to not deprive myself so maybe I can eventually lose my regained weight. My goal for now is 17.5 lbs. I walk everyday around the lake but still haven't made it back to the gym.
21 lbs in 23 days. WOW Way To Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beware of that "not deprive myself" vow - We are so sly - on a bad day we can convince ourselves (with very little effort) if we do not eat what we want we are depriving ourselves big time.  LOL

Yes, that is so true! I am struggling so bad with my weight. I am miserable and my weight is all I think about and still have good intentions gone bad. How am I going to get on the right track!?!
If I had the perfect lay out of meals I think I would do better. I have not tried the 5 day pouch test so maybe I should. Thanks for the reply.

Wow 23 Lbs!!  You have given me the incentive to get back on track.  I have gained 10 lbs and I feel like it is 30.  I had planned on checking out the 5 day pouch test and now I will do it!!  I have started walking daily also, even if I don't feel like it.  Good luck, I know you will make your goal.

WTG!!! So inspiring!! I've been floundering around for the past few weeks, starting and stopping, I think I will too take on the five day pouch test challenge and get my butt back into the gym and taking my kids for walks daily!!!
I love to hear success stories and yours has been the best I have encountered so far
CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!

Tamara - I'm SO PROUD of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, BOTT POWER is real!  I know that I could never have gotten back/stayed on track without this group's caring, understanding, accepting and positivenes.  Welcome to the family.   Keep up the great healthy behaviors you've been doing the past three weeks.
