Back On Track Together
Monday Cardio and Cafe
Hope you all had a restful and relaxing weekend or at the very least an enjoyable one.
I had a wonderful weekend. Although it was very warm and humid here in the Sandhills, I seemed to have a healing response to the warmth and sunshine. I think I drank up as much vitamin D from the sunshine as my body could absorb.
Before my WLS I really hated any kind of lawn work, the last 2 years I actually look forward to mowing the grass and trimming my bushes. I feel like an artist when I am out there.
I woke this morning rearing to go! It will probably last until 5 minutes after I get to the office, LOL!
I have a pot of chicken vegetable soup simmering on the stove and a protein pineapple casserole in the oven. I made these to supplement my menu plan for my work week and to share with the ladies at work. I bought some yummy cheese sticks and have several 200 calorie protein meals on hand, so I should be ready for this week with healthy food.
I have a car trunk full of different types of flavored waters so I should be well hydrated this week.
What are you plans for today?
Have a WONDERFUL BOTT Monday!
The sunshine really helps change your mood for the day. I'm back from vacation, we had a nice relaxing week. The exercise room was still under construction, and that really bummed us out. We tried to walk everywhere and take the stairs whenever possible, to keep some type of exercise in our day. I'm looking forward to hitting the gym later this morning. My food plan:
Breakfast - fage
Snack - protein drink
Lunch - ham and cheese roll
Snack - protein drink
Dinner - chicken w/veggies
Snack - fage w/s.f. caramel
I hope that everyone has a great day!

While I can't seem to quite muster up the enthusiasm for Monday that I can for Friday - I too am "bright eyed and bushy tailed" this morning ready to get going on the week. Our daughter will be here for Mother's Day (as will my husband) so that makes it special - and, most likely, will make the end of the week seem to drag by a bit.
Rainy and icky this morning and probably will be for the whole day. Our main concern right now is "will the oil slick come up and coat our beautifuly white-sand beaches" There's a small chance it won't get as far east as where I live and the winds are shifting out of the north this morning. That's good news.
EXERCISE: Walk and stairs - didn't get in much exercise over the weekend. Had to catch up on all the things I didn't do during the week because I gave in to my addiction to Zoo World on Facebook LOL

Well, we're all back here and it's Monday!
I'm happy because it's May and we in Chicagoland should be free of snow at least for the next 6 months!
I am a summer person and just love to lounge by the pool and sun.
My weight went down again this week; another 3 pounds. YAY!! Since I've been BOT, I've lost 31 pounds. It hasn't been easy and some weeks although I am working out and not eating much, the scale doesn't budge much.
I am still planning on a revision to DS - it looks like the beginning of August or thereabouts.
Today, I did 36 minutes on the elliptical - burned 390 calories and did 2.81 miles. YAY!!! I upped my intensity to 2 for the last 11 minutes.
Today's meal plan:
B - 1/2 cup cottage cheese with radishes. I just love radishes!
L - sliced lean pork loin over mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.
D - turkey burger with cauliflower and roasted onions.
S - chocolate rice cake with 1 TBS peanut butter and Lite & Fit Dannon Yogurt.
It's going to be a short week for me at work. Monday and Tuesday only. Wednesday is my birthday and my family is taking me to Lake Geneva - WI for a nice lunch at a restaurant overseeing the lake. Then Thursday and Friday I'm off to a work seminar.
I guess that is it for me!
Have a wonderful BOTT day everyone!
BOTT ROCKS!
