Back On Track Together
What's on my mind
In some ways getting back on track has been easy and in other ways hard.
I have no problem eating the right foods thus far. I only shop healthy therefore I eat healthy. John has even climbed aboard and eats better. Having him on the same page makes it much easier to shop and eat right. For the most part I don't miss the junk. Except chocolate. I really, really, REALLY miss chocolate. But I've done really well. We've eaten out once since I got BOT. We were out shopping when my sugar dropped.
The hard part is planning ahead. I have a hard time planning what and when I eat. I can make a plan for the day, but then my sugar drops or I forget 'cuz I'm not hungry. That throws off the when. Then I don't always feel like eating what I planned for and I substitute. But any way, it's still healthy.
I don't know if I have lost any weight, but I do have a spring in my step again. I still stop in here and read even if I don't post much. The info posted is very much appreciated. I'm still here and I'm still on track.
**ETA: Since I've gotten back on track I have not drank any Coke Zero. I had 1 small glass of diet ginger ale at Easter. I mostly drin****d tea or lemonade.
