A little about me...and a plea for advice...

Hi BOTTers.

Thank you so much for each and every post and reply in this forum.  I appreciate everyone of you.

I am about 1 year and 9 months post-op.  About 8 months ago I got within 7 lbs of my goal weight and I felt amazingly healthy and had really good energy.

Since then, however, my weight has been creeping up and now I am 10 pounds heavier.  I am only 5' tall, so this is huge to me.  I discovered BOTT a little while ago and love the suggestions and support.

I am almost in a "panicked" frame of mind and I feel like I am spiraling out of control.

In order to regain my focus, I need to start keeping track of what I am eating.  Can you please tell me how you are keeping track, what instrument you are using to do this, website, or whatever is working for you?  I have not done this before and I need something very user friendly and effective.

Any ideas or thoughts would be very appreciated.

Thank you so much, in advance.

Why not try mydailyplate.com or myfitnesspal.com? Obesity Help also has its own weight/food/exercise tracker built right into this webiste under "My Account". Remember, you are the one making the decisions. YOu can decide to stop this and nip it in the bud! I believe in you and welcome to BOTT!

Hi Gaby,

Sion gave you some great suggestions.  OH has developed HealthTracker which is amazing.  It is also going to have some additions made to it that are geared specifically for WLS members.  I would highly recommend it.  You can go to your "my oh" to find it.  If you have any questions, let me know at [email protected].

I believe strongly in logging food and activity.  It is a strong motivator.  I think you'll find it a good resource to get AND stay on track.

BOTT POWER,
Cathy

I also use myfitnesspal.com and I love it.  I have been using it for about a month now.  I will look into OH.com tracker over the weekend.
