Stop and relax.
Much of the tension in life is due to the fact that people rarely stop doing things. We never give ourselves a break to relieve the tensions of the day, to just do nothing and see where it leads us. Do you feel like you never have a moment when you are not running or in demand? Take time to relax.
And remember, sleeping at night does NOT count as relaxing. Relaxing is being awake and unstressed. It is occupying yourself happily with something you love to do or nothing at all!
Put on your to do list: Set aside time to relax and "do nothing" today, even if for a short while. Even five minutes of down time can be replenishing.

OMG, this is so true for me today! I wish I read this before I stepped outside. I had an appointment for a paid survey at 9:15 this morning. Instead of reading my own reminder from my daily calendar, I hopped in the car and drove over to the wrong research company! I should add that the place that I should have gone to was less than 3 blocks from my house... I was too late! I then went to my dr. appointment that I "thought" was at 11:00, nope, it was at 11:45. When I went to pay my co-pay she said $90.00. When I asked what for, she said that I had missed the appointment that I had last week!!! So, yes Molly, I need to STOP and try to relax. Especially after my day today.
