Good morning Deb and fellow BOTT'ers!

I just ordered some new protein drinks from bariatriceating.com. Vanilla Creme Brulee and Mocha Latte Protein Drinks - sounds so yummy. They have a sale going on right now, although shipping and handling gets you - glass bottles!

This week my exercise is upped - 34 minutes on the elliptical with 2 minutes on Level 2 intensity. I was able to achieve my goal today! My plan is to add 2 minutes/week on Level 2 until I do all my time on Level 2. Total time on elliptical will be 35 minutes next week. Then I will work on adding more intensity - and eventually get up to 45 minutes total time. Slow and steady will get me there!

Meal Plan for today:

B - 1 jumbo hard boiled egg with roasted red pepper, 1/2 small tomato and 1 cheddar cheese rice cake.
L - small piece of pork loin sliced over mixed green salad with balsamic vinegar.
D - turkey burger with cauliflower and broccoli - roasted sweet onion.
S - Dannon Lite & Fit Yogurt
chocolate rice cake with 1 TBS peanut butter - coffee.

Yummy - sounds like a good eating plan. Of course, my vitamins for the day and lots of water.

I started to clean out my closet and got 2 large bags of clothes to donate. YAY!!

Summer is coming and for me, that means pool season. I love the water!

Have a great BOTT day everyone!

Hugs,
Lucy

Lucy,
I hope that you enjoy your new protein!  I ordered from baratriceating one time, but their S & H costs are ridiculous!  Congrats on your increased workout!

Morning BOTTers!

After finally getting my act together, things settled and organized and everything, after the floods have receeded and life is now starting to get back to normal, here I am. I'm excited to BOTT today, and am already loving the nice clear skies of spring, ready to start hitting the track every day again.

I bought these new-ish things (new to me anyways) as a substitute for my normal wheat bread. They're called "Flat Out" flat breads, with low cal, low carb, high fiber... they're VERY tastey. I think this may become a regular in my diet!

Cardio - Track

Food -
B - 1 egg and 1 slice cheese on Flat Out bread
S - Baby carrots
L - Mexican chicken and veggie soup. 2 slices turkey, 1 slice cheese on Flat Out bread
S - Babybel light mini cheese wheel
D - 1 hot dog, salad

Diane,
It's Greek yogurt, very thick and can be used as sweet or savory.  There are tons of uses for it.  I love it with some sugar free caramel syrup and 2 splendas.  I also mix some Kashi-Go Lean in it for breakfast.  I use the 0%fat.  I get it at Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.

I had a wonderful weekend. Hubby actually got the whole weekend off...which is rare. We spent time doing a little yard work, planning our garden and playing some games with each other. Yesterday we did our grocery shopping and I got lots of healthy options. I even talked hubby into not buying sweets for work. He chose fruit instead. Then we had a picnic at the dog park. Kit loved it. She had a lot of other dogs to run and play with.

I have set a couple of goals for this week. I want to get on my Wii board and weigh myself. I want to lose at least 1 pound this week, I have several fitness games. I want to limit my eating to 3 meals and 3 snacks. I also want to get my camping gear and first aid kit in order. And for the easiest goal...NO TAKEOUT!

If I can manage these goals I will add to that next week. Now my daily food goal:

B- 1 sausage link and 1 egg
S- yogurt and banana
L- ham, cheese, pickle
S- stawberries, protein shake
D- chicken salad
S- grapes, protein shake

Now it's off to fix breakfast for hubby and I. :-)
