Hiatal hernia repair post RNY?

I'm having an upper endoscopy on Tuesday, my upper GI showed hiatal hernia w/ acid reflux and some spots they will biopsy for Barrett's esophagus.

I never had heartburn or reflux problem pre-WLS, the issues have been more in the past 2 years (I am 7 years post RNY) and I've been on Nexium for a year and still have heartburn daily.

I have read a lot about people with GERD or reflux issue pre-op and the RNY helped resolve the problem but I haven't come across many people that have had issues post op or had a hiatal hernia repaired post RNY, from what I read they use the top of the stomach to wrap around the esophagus so I wonder how they do this with just a pouch???
