Ok guys, no need for anyone to be nice today.  I am really really stuck, not gaining but not losing.  I am grazing and doing everything that got me to where I needed wls - and I know I shouldn't but I can't seem to stop myself and get back on track -

Motivation please

It's not how many times you fall that matters, it's how many times you get back up

Remember what you are here for? you are doing that for yourself.
there are days when i graze all day - but that is usually when that is what I do all day - graze - so not big meals at all - just a piece of this or that all day long - I know I can do that as long as "
1. I meat my prot requirements
2. I meat but not exceed my cal req
3. I keep the grazing to foods that will not make me ill (and if they do - I try to get over that)
4. If I find myself grazing on foods that I should not eat - I get rid of them:  garbage, give it away, hide it so far out of reach that the effort to get it is not worth the trouble.
5. Get a bath.
6.  If that does not work - I get the food that I can't stop eating - mix it with some horrible items: Cat's hair, dust bunnies, some smelly fish - etc) look closely at it - sniff it.  Try to memorize how that is looking - and hopefully - the next time I get a nausea when I see it.

Ceelion - You don't need a kick in anything - but you do need to forgive yourself for being human.  Humans aren't perfect, humans make mistakes, humans can correct their mistakes and humans can learn from their mistakes.

What you've learned is that putting yourself down isn't working.  That believing if you don't give in to a craving you will fall over in a heap dead.  That WANTING to eat equals HAVING to eat.

SURE YOU CAN GET BACK ON - YOU'VE DONE IT BEFORE SO, OF COURSE, YOU CAN DO IT AGAIN.

Food doesn't jump into your mouth and down your throat - you have to do that.  You don't have to be comfortable - you just have to stop doing that.  YOU CAN DO THAT.

Thinking you can't stop yourself is where you are derailing.  At the very least own up to "I won't stop myself"  At least that way you are forced to acknowledge you have a choice - and you have been making poor choices.  Just because you have been making poor choices you don't have to keep doing it.

Take it 5 minutes at a time and celebrate success (in a non-food way) at the end of every five minutes - even we can tolerate a craving for 5 minutes  Come here and post instead of giving in to your cravings - so what if you have 397 posts a day - it will work.  Call on and use BOTT POWER..

WE CAN DO THIS TOGETHER - YES WE CAN
