Back On Track Together
BOTT Challenge for January - Weigh In Friday
Kathy, I really like to idea of person-specific accountability - for some it's weight, for others it's how clothes fit, for others it's food, water, exercise. all of these are important to all of us, but sometimes the need is to limit our focus for a while to some more limited specific. And for some, the specific focus may change in less (or more) than a month. So, I vote for the focus to be "Daily Accountability" Please understand, the deciision needs to be what meets the needs of the majority
After surgery I was not able to force myself to eat/drink my minimum requirements - that's until a couple of days ago. Since then I've been eating my regular healthy food - just too much of it. So I have dedicated today to staying within my caloric limits for the day and drinking at least the minium 60 oz of water. So far I'm right on track.
Happy weekend to one and all
We will do something as everyone said it was a great help to know we had to come and be accountable here on BOTT
We will do it
HW:330 - GW:150 - MW:118-125
RW:190 - CW:130
I must be accountable whether doing right or temporarily doing wrong. Thanks for being here for me.
The scale has been going up and down the past three weeks right along with my eating habits. However this week it went down. Out of the three weeks I can only report 1.4 pounds lost but I still feel successful.
I am exercising more and watching the results of poor choices and giving in to cravings. I am continuing to learn and do better though I fall short of my goals at times.
Personally, I am an accountable person. Challenges don't work me. I am happy for and pick up tips from what others do but I am not challenged. Basically I judge me by me.
Accountability makes me take stock in what I am doing and have done. Hopefully my actions don't discourage others. Each of us handle our weightloss programs differently and wish the best of success to all.

This week hasn't shown any change in weight...up and down for no difference at the end of the week. That is okay, I will take it.
I have improved my focus on what I need to be doing (protein, fluids) that as of this morning included getting back to Curves, where I can do the circuit training that I have been missing since I let the membership lapse. I am excited to get back to it, because I know what a difference it made in how I looked and felt when I was doing it before.
As far as continuing this thread -- I think it is wonderful to have the encouragement and the accountability. Would love to see it continue!
I hope everyone has a great evening!
Time is flying by... SADLY,truthfully, and I can not understand why, but I have not done my best with my goal to lose 5%........ I've got ISSUES, major food issues. No, I actaully do alot that is right. I have exercised these past three weeks, 5 days each week. I start out the day with a bang journaling......... I lose grip at night.......
I started this goal of 5 % loss at 161 lbs today I weighed 161 lbs. That's the truth... I have not given up hope. Oh please don't take my hope away.
Kathy A.
BTW... Kathy, you have done a great job in supporting us.
Today I've eaten 1500 calories & 104 protein..
I'm late in posting this, but I am down 2 lbs. this week. Being held accountable is the best way to get through my hectic life. There has been a lot of things going on around here, both good and bad. I've made the decision to stop and think about what I'm putting in my mouth, is it worth it? Does it REALLY taste good and is it REALLY worth it??? Most of the time it's been NO! It doesn't taste good at all, and I don't need it.
Thanks for keeping us on task with your daily reminders.
