Hi, thanks for adding me to your group. So many things are forgotten after a few years of having wls. Number one being protein first, not to mention Dense protein! which is something someone spoke of on another board. Dense protein is the only thing that stays in my pouch for a little bit of time. I recently went out and purchased my protein drinks and my protein bars and liquid vitaimins (am deficient) but stopped doing liquid vitamins years ago... always had good levels when I was on liquid vitamins. Why did I stop? I just dont know. I thought chewables would do it and it's cheaper. Not the case. Better to spend the money and have good levels.  Water is another thing I forgot about really... not so much "forgot" as not paying attention. I just need to drink MORE. I also need to cut out the soups. I had soup today for lunch. Dont know why because it zipps right on through my pouch and through the stoma and into my intestines without my tummy feeling full. Tomorrow I'm bringing some chicken or a hard boiled egg or something dense to eat for lunch or for snack. So many things I forgot about and need to get back into the habit of doing. Especially water!

Great post Kathy, thanks.  Great posts by everyone today.  These have been really helpful today.  Thank you everyone.  Today is a new day.  I'm starting the day with a fruit protein shake.

Wonderful post, Kathy.  So often, we find ourselves falling back into old habits, and it is good to have reminders of what it so important that we do to stay healthy, and keep the weight off.  Thank you!  :)

Thanks for the pep talk. I have been back on my self, but I did GREAT today. I think that knowing that we have ate something bad weighs on our heart so heavy that we dont allow ourselves to get past it an back on the wagon like we should. I feel so bad and mad at myself, but I do thank you for your post.
