Back On Track Together
1/4/10 - Monday - BOTT Cardio and Cafe`
Good morning and Happy New Year, BOTTers!
Lets get a good start on the year, I know I want to. I have packed a nice healthy lunch, and am going to cut back on some other things, just to make a good change in my life. I need to reassess some things and work on the self-awareness that I resolved to find. I also will be keeing track again on myfitnesspal.com on caloric intake to try to keep accountable. Cardio has been working hard on the house, today of which is sanding the new wall plaster hubby put up last night. It really is starting to look mostly done now, and after a nice coat of paint, it'll really be HOME! I also started my house blog, if anyone's interested in checking it out. Nothing extravagant yet, but I'll get it up to date as quick as I can.

B - 2 small slices cibata french toast
S - Click
L - Tuna on wheat thins
S - Carrots, Deli turkey roll-ups
D - Chili?

Thanks!! I'm looking forward to getting all caught up on it, then being able to refresh my memory with pictures and my own words later on. Maybe even show it to my kids some day. Its neat, like a scrap book. And it gives me the ability to share it all with my family and friends.

I started off this morning knowing that this is the start of me being "back on track" after a crazy couple of months.
Exercise: 40 minutes on the treadmill
10 minutes with the weighted hula hoop
Food:
B: Muscle Milk Light RTD Shake
L: Salad and a couple of tips of a cheese quesadilla
S: Protein shake
D: Minestrone soup
S: Greek yogurt
Off and running with the 5% challenge. Have a great day. :)

Hello all!
I am new to the Cafe and enjoying reading all the posts and thought I would post my daily cafe news.
I actually started back last Monday...I thought why wait until the new year. I saw my surgeon a couple weeks ago and needless to say he was not pleased with me at all. He put me back on the "basic diet" of meat, veggies, cheese, nuts, and berries. I am proud to say that I have stuck to it since last Monday and lost 8 lb. I also took my Christmas money and joined Curves. My surgeon also suggested a book "Die Fat or Get Tough". I am not reading that.....and most of it sounds like me and my "fat" way of thinking.
During the last week, I have not been sick at my stomach or had sugar level drops. It was definitely a good week.
My fit life plan is the basic diet (including one cup of green tea), exercising, reading my book, and prayer.....and of course my vitamins/supplements.
B - sausage omelet
L - broccoli & cheese/pork tenderloin
D - not sure yet.......probably philly steak salad
I snack on tree nuts and beef sticks. At first I wanted to snack continually but as the week progressed, that urge/need is gradually deminishing.
My only snag is constipation...hopefully the benefiber will kick in .....if not miralax here is come.
Curves tonight after work if weather permits. It is snowing lightly right now and not sticking. Let hope it stays that way. If not plan B......not sure what that is yet.

I am so happy to finally be back home. I have not put anything in place to make this year especially successful but I am determined to remain on track.
Eating for today so far is a little messy as it was snatch and grab.
B - protein shake
S - bag of peanuts and bag of chips
L - chicken leg (fried)
D - don't have a clue but I plan to make it positively protein and low carb.
