Wishing you all a great day!
Got a little carried away last night and tried to sabatoge my weight loss.  I ate 3 oz of dry roasted peanuts, totally not on the program.  However I got my head back on.

It should get up in the 70's in Kentucky today and I am going to make the most of it while eating wisely, getting in my exercise ( did 10 minutes on the treadmill this morning), taking my vitamins and drinking my water.

Take care and have a great day.

Good Morning! No worries, we all get off the program sometimes, the important thing is you recognized it and got right back to being on track. In the grand scheme of things 3oz of dry roasted peanuts is much better than 3oz of chips or ice-cream.

I think it's time for me to move to Kentucky, we are expecting a high of 30 today with snow this afternoon so I did my 30 minutes of free step on the Wii while I watched the morning news.

Morning, Z!

Don't worry too much about it. Peanuts are not the worst cheaty snack in the world, and those are good carbs, good fat and good calories. Far better than some other options you could have picked, so I'm proud of you! What's more, if you do 'cheat'... ENJOY the food you eat, don't just do it and feel guilty. Enjoy the small indulgence and then be prepared to get back on track immediatly after eating. Add an extra few sit-ups to the bill, do a little something more than normal to ensure those calories are burned, then you have even less reason to feel guilt over the indulgence.

You're doing great, keep up the good work!

I actually managed to get through my anniversary dinner without blowing my protocol...except for a few drinks...crown and diet cokes...two light beers...and two glasses of champagne (from the restaurant)....had a wonderful time with DH and DD and her boyfriend...

Oh well...one of three or four days a year to let loose a bit!

Janelle, I would trade peanuts any day for a couple glasses of crown on the rocks.  I gave up soda and beer too much carbonation.  LOL

Hi everyone

groan, peanuts are my downfall - once I start that's it I keep nibbling and before I know it I've eaten the whole bowl/packet!  I try to stay as far away from them as possible.

So well done you for only eating 3oz...

Thanks Ruth.  I am going to try to stay away from them for a while.  I only have a little left.  Usually I just finish stuff off and say I won't buy anymore.  Since I've decided to stop lying to myself, I'll just leave them where they are so if I lose my head again it won't be on a new jar.
