Back On Track Together
Starting the 5DPT today....anyone joining me?
Now is the time!
Since my weight loss I am in love the camera! We complain about weight gain, but yesterday as I did my little photo shoot with my friend...I did not like what I saw. My clothes still fit...but the camera only takes what it
sees! OMG!!!! My friend says I'm being too critical of myself, but I know what I see and I don't like it.
I stay on track during the week, and mess up on the weekends...sound familiar? My carb consumption is
"OUT OF CONTROL"
and since I have to work the weekend anyway, why not start my 5DPT now!
Genie,
I'm going to take it as a sign since you posted this thread today. I woke up this morning and decided to get my booty in gear
. I'm not going to do the full 5-day pouch test, though. I found a different version that I think will fit me better. It's called the 3-day LPT (Liquid Protein Train).
It can last 3-4 days depending on how bad you need to de-carb. You have the choice to do liquid for all 3 days or do you liquid all day and have a "light" protein-rich dinner. Each time you get hungry, whether it be actual hunger or head-hunger, you have a protein drink. You have to get in a minimum of 800-cals a day.
I stay pretty on track during the week as well, but when the weekend hits, there is no rhyme or reason. AND definitely no structure. If it's a payday Friday when my friends and I go out, I might as well throw my plan out the window.![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/dontwannasee.gif)
Even though, I'm not doing the 5-day pouch test, know that I will be on the liquid protein train with you.
Together, we CAN do this. Or as one of my friends says, "We GOT this".
