Monday - BOTT Cafe & Cardio

Hi BOTTers,

I had a good weekend because I worked....huh?  I worked on the nutrition tracker by adding foods from restaurants.  It has been so much fun to work on the nutrition tracker.

As I input nutritionals from restaurants it was quite the shock in so many respects.  Names of menu items sounded healthy but checking the nutritional it was astounding.  I will think twice before relying on how an item sounds.  In fact, before I go to a restaurant, I am going to check out their menu and the nutritionals.  Be prepared!  If I check it out before and determine what I will order, it will eliminate the impulsive ordering because something sounds good.  If I decide in advance of what I am going to order, check the nutritionals, I'll make a healthier decision.  Again, another strategy to BOT.

Here's my check in today:

CARDIO:  Treadmill

FOOD:

Southwestern Egg Beaters
Cottage cheese
Chicken salad with light Miracle Whip
Jalapeno Mustard Pretzels
Tilapia with green beans
Cinnamon Toast Pretzels
Power Crunch bar

Have a marvelous Monday as we BOTT.............BOTT POWER!!

Cathy - what and where is the nutritional tracker?

Great weekend - My husband made a quickie weekend trip down so we could have some "us" time without other events going on.  We accomplished a lot of "honey dos" together.  He's such a great guy!

The scales smiled this morning.  I was down (surprise, surprise - otherwise I'd say the scales frowned LOL)  I'm beginning to think that big loss a couple of weeks ago was some glitch on the scales for I'm still a wee bit above that day's weight - but am coming down.

FOOD:
B - My oatmeal breakfast - 260 cal
S - Bariatrix choc soy snacks - 150 cal
L - Heath Wise chicken pasta - 200 cal
HW taco cheese bites - 120 cal
S - HW choc drink - 80 cal
D - My seafood gumbo - 182 cal
      Dole coleslaw - 25 cal
Walton Farms 1000 Island dressing - 0 cal
Jello individ serving pudding - 60 cal

1077 cal         108g carbs       117g protein

Have a dr's appt this afternoon (just a routine checkup) so won't get in any organized exercise but will walk a little and climb stairs

Do promise myself and all of you I will be living a BOTT day.

New week - new day - scales smiled - sun shining - all's right with my world  Wish you all peace, joy, and a mighty fine BOTT day.

Hi Happy,

Nutritional tracker is essentially what you provided above.  It is an addition to our Health Tracker that is for logging your food and water.  Activity tracker is on its way soon.

Go to "my oh" and you'll see on the left nav "Health Tracker" and you can go to the "Nutrition" tab and there it is.

I'd love to know what you think.  Check it out and let me know.

Thanks!!

Well, the nephew is back home in VA, which is happy and sad at the same time. I did some serious damage to my eating plans and my scales definitley showed it this morning. They were up dramatically since Saturday morning, but I hope it is just some serious water weight and not getting my workouts. So this week, my goal is to purge all the bad stuff from my house, the leftover Doritos and such. I'm still anxiously awaiting my protein samples from vitalady. I'm still tossing around the 5 day diet especially after this weekend and my falling head first off the wagon.
