Bon Voyage, Cathy. I hope your trip is safe and enjoyable.

Morning all! How lucky am I to be able to help out with the C&C this week! Looking kinda blerg rainy wet cold out today. Might be hard to get at the track. I'm not too worried, bit "war weekend" comming this weekend, and I'll be getting plenty of exercise.

Cardio - Track if it isn't rainy wet blerg

Food -
B - Power Protein Plate (ala Starbucks)
L - Chicken breast and veggie wrap
S - Other half of that
D - "Cal Tex Casserole" (Layers of Joseph's flax wraps, BBQ beans, ground turkey, BBQ sauce and low fat mexi cheese. Like mexican lasagna)

EDITED!

Wow, Starbucks was busy this morning. They were out of the Spin feta wraps!  So... not to be disuaded I looked at their other offerings and found something interesting. "Power Protein Plate". What's in it, you ask?

1/4 apple
8-10 grapes
1 oz cheddar cheese'
1 hard boiled egg
1 whole wheat mini bagel
1 packet (bout 1 tbs?) PB

Wow! Now that means

370 Cal
17g  Fat
17g Protein
5g Fiber
600g Sodium
39g Carbs (34 net carbs)

The numbers may seem high, but there's enough food in here to last for breakfast and morning snack. I'm for it!!

Today is another good day.  Made a funny discovery.  My pouch still works!  Since getting back on the trail, I've been losing 0.6 lbs per day.  If I can keep this up we're talking 12 lbs in a month.  I'm pumped.... I just got to use the momentum while my mind is in the right place.  So, here we go today:

Cardio:  90 minutes water aerobics and lap swimming (DONE)

FOOD:

Breakfast:  (my usual)  Tilapia and Applesauce
Lunch:  Unwich from Jimmy Jones  (sandwich w'o bread... large lettuce leaf instead)
Dinner:  Steak
Snack:  Monster Drink LoCarb / Crystal Lite / SF petite pickles

I'm pumped!!!

Have a great day!!

Good morning!

Rainy, drizzly and cool here, too, though things are supposed to start warming up, and with any luck, may see sun by the weekend.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Exercise:  Going to pull out the treadmill here at home and put in a couple of miles on it.

Food:

B -- Protein cereal and skim milk
L -- Soup and salad, maybe a few pieces of a quesadilla (cheese only)
S -- Protein shake/smoothie
D -- Hmm...haven't decided yet -- though your Cal Tex Casserole sounds like something to think about!  Just have to find those flax wraps...
S -- Some fresh fruit

Have a great one!
