Good afternoon everyone!
Hope everyone here is had a great last week & planning on a repeat this coming week. I have run into a problem. I started a new job this last Monday. My training was 8 hours a day of just sitting with not much break time. I am at another plateau because I haven't been able to exercise. Any ideas out there as to what I can do with the proteins so that it may carry me over w/o exercise at this time? The next 2 wks I will be in more Leadership training, not sure what my schedule will be like. The company I work for does have a on-site gym with personal trainer free to our use, which I am making an appt with as soon as they can get me in. Its very dark when I get home at night. I am at a loss in the interim.

ps..I work for the The Scooter Store. If anyone out there is looking for power mobility while they await their surgery dates. Give me a shout!

Congrats on your new leadership role!
Our Team is only as good as our leadership is great! I just accepted a job with a company that sells mobility assistive devices. I am hoping to bring our goals to the company I work with. I am thinking down the line, that we will be able to assist one another in some way. Maybe with those that are still pending their surgery dates. Just thinking. Its getting late and I should get to bed.

and I received my acceptance yesterday. My training should begin in November, and this will give us access to official group information.
I heard that at time we make get samples or magazines to share. We'll see how this develops :)

Hello all!
My name is Tamera and I reside in the Lockhart area. I had my VSG on 9/23/09 and am 31 lbs less. I am looking for a support group as my surgery was done in Vegas. I come from a ranching/rodeo background, LOVE dogs, horses, travel & collecting fine wines.
I was in a car accident 2 years ago that left me walking with an assistive device. Obesity is my demon which by God's love I am trying hard to eradicate. I had this surgery so that I could lose a significant amount of weight to have a Total Hip Replacement. Walking is a challenge but I still do it with a walker. Very Sexy you know! LOL.
I want to lose this weight, get my surgery,lessen my lymphedema & eliminate my Diabetes. All of these co-morbidities have happend after becoming too big for my britches! I want to get back to riding & roping again. Would love to fall in love again & remarry. Whatever I can do to support others count me in!! I hope this post finds you all well.
