I am Sara and I don't live in Austin but I don't think I am too far away to join. I live south of Waco in a small town named Lorena. I had my surgery on Oct. 5th and I am doing well. I look forward to hearing about you all.

Hello all!
My name is Tamera and I reside in the Lockhart area. I had my VSG on 9/23/09 and am 31 lbs less. I am looking for a support group as my surgery was done in Vegas. I come from a ranching/rodeo background, LOVE dogs, horses, travel & collecting fine wines.
I was in a car accident 2 years ago that left me walking with an assistive device. Obesity is my demon which by God's love I am trying hard to eradicate. I had this surgery so that I could lose a significant amount of weight to have a Total Hip Replacement. Walking is a challenge but I still do it with a walker. Very Sexy you know! LOL.
I want to lose this weight, get my surgery,lessen my lymphedema & eliminate my Diabetes. All of these co-morbidities have happend after becoming too big for my britches! I want to get back to riding & roping again. Would love to fall in love again & remarry. Whatever I can do to support others count me in!! I hope this post finds you all well.
