B.  Chocolate Whey Crisps, 4 slices low sodium bacon
L.   3 meatballs
D.   4 oz pork chop, buffalo cheese, lettuce, 3 strawberries

Calories 1088
Protein - 88
Carbs - 9

Calories a little higher but concentrated on keeping carbs low as I get myself back into fat burning mode.  Good day for me.

Okay folks, the down and dirty:

Really what keeps me "safe" from gross weight gain is the three egggs I have for breakfast each morning, because right off the bat I've had 24 grams of protein, which keeps me satiated for hours.  That, and coffee.

B:  3 eggs, and coffee with cream
S:  a low fat brownie, which tasted awful, and I won't make that mistake again
L:  tuna salad, green salad
S:  cheese wedges
D:  turkey stew

I have a refrigerator right by my desk, and store little cubes or triangles or slices of cheese.  I also store peanuts or other nuts.  I keep dry unpopped popcorn and brown paper bags to pop it in if I must have a starchy thing (because it's high in fiber).  Also, washed celery sticks, and a jar of peanutbutter.

How's it going?  I track my food in myfitnesspal .com so that I can see the reality of what I'm eating.

Many surgeons recommend staying under 30 carbs per day.  Some say count all carbs, some subtract fiber.  Atkins has a good website with lots of ideas.

Why don't you post what you're eating over a few days and let people give you suggestions.

My new favorite food is Chocolate Whey Crisps.  You can eat them straight out of the canister, or mix them into things, like a T of cream mixed with water or unsweetened Almond Breeze.  I buy them online at Vitacost.com.  Calories per scoop 105, carbs 3, protein 20.

I keep protein powder in case I want to make a protein hot cocoa.

This week I had almonds but ate too many and had to give them away. 

I sometimes have Ostrim Nuggets 

Pork rinds.

Protein Pudding by Bodytech

String Cheese or Babybel individuals

Some sort of meat in the fridge that I can grab.  I have Morningstar Veggie Sausage in the freezer and can cook one up quick if I want a meaty thing.

Fage Greek Yogurt - 1/2 cup for less than 5 carbs and 10 protein goes a long way

Friday CARB roundup!   My carbs have been creeping up from veggies and berries and my scale is up a pound so I'm back to be more accountable as that really helps me tremendously.

I'm going to do strict Atkins induction for a week to get the carbs completely out of my system and turn back into a fat burning, lean machine!

L.  Amy Lu's Chicken Gouda sausage cause it's in the fridge

D.  Good sized Pork Chop

I got a sample of Bariwise Cherry Gelatin - 60 cal, 0 carbs, 15 protein. I may try that later as well.  Depends on if the taste is vile whether I'll get it down or not.

Protein - 100
Carbs - 3

Exercise:  Walk a 5k and get into the gym to do weights
Want to up my fluids this afternoon after my walk

As always, great question Lisa! 

I think those signs will be different for all of us.  I binged two days in a row this week, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Some work stress set me off.  Each day it was 2 ounces of Almonds.  The rest of the day was on plan. Thursday almonds given to co-worker.

Once I'm in the hand to mouth mode, it's tough to stop but my Sleeve helps to keep me in check.

Now in the bigger picture, that's not much, but it was the way I was eating them.  it was almost like thoughtless abandon.  Gone was my mindful eating which feels really crappy to me.  I don't like resorting to old coping mechanisms and want to learn better ways to deal with my environment and the situations that come my way.

My veggie and berrie carbs were creeping us so I thought i'd better get my tush back here to be more accountable and to get my carbs back under 20 regardless of what form they're in.
