Good morning Paul.  Walked today, in the heat and humidity here in south of US..  it is hot...
But got load up on endorphins.. love feeling high like that.
My lower carb and exercise are working... this morning was able to squeeze into my size 6 again. They are not loose... but I can wear them... and no "muffin top" . Really happy about that.  And that is a great motivator to do what I have been doing.

I am eating more fruits that I think I should... but so far that is working for me... so no harm done

eats: (changed)
coffee + almond milk
protein shake
corned beef + tzatziki sauce
protein shake, 2 cheese sticks
flax muffin
nuts (too many)
chicken + tomato+ mushroom sauce.
fruits

Bariatric checkup today - watch this space!

Typical Welsh summer weather, sunshine and rain in equal measure...

3 boiled eggs
Cheese salad with no-carb bacon dressing
Ryvitas with low fat cheese triangles
2 Atkins bars
Coffee and tea

I have not ordered any more Atkins bars, so after the next five days or so I'll be without chocolate!!!!  Enjoy today.

No bulk store where I live... small town life has it's drawbacks. :)

Thanks so much for your suggestions!

About vitamins... I know what I have to take, and will make that work. Food is a little harder to deal with since I am feeding a family of five adults.  Two of them finicky young men. Ugh.

I will figure this out though! :)

I stayed "good" even during a very long meeting that had homemade baked goodies!  Probably because I brought baby carrots and cheese sticks for everyone (incuding me)

B:  scrambled eggs and cheese, coffee with cream
S: string cheese, fresh snap peas
L: sashimi
S: amond butter cookies
D: schnitzel and kiwifruit

Back down four pounds of eleven gained (is that what it was?)

 Welcome!

Starting on the low-carb trail is, indeed, a really good prelude to WLS of any kind because post-op, it fits what most doctors are goin to ask you to do anyway.

So congratulations on giving yourself a head start!

One thought though ... It is EXPENSIVE to be a WLS patient, and being a WLS patient lasts the rest of your life.  Before you embark on this journey, make sure you will be able to afford all of the vitamin supplements you will need for the rest of your lkife, and the protein drinks that most new-ops drink.

Though on a lighter note, I found that I actually spend about the same amount of food four years post-op, because though the quantity has diminished, the quality is far far superior.

And being healthy saves a HUGe AMOUNT OF MONEY IN THE LONG RUN!

Best of luck!
