Topic: RE: LOW CARB FLAT BREAD RECIPE
I ran across this on lowcarbfriends.com and it's a little different with the addition of a little splenda and a dash of salt. I haven't tried them yet, but plan to this weekend!
3 large eggs
1 pkg Splenda
dash of salt
pinch of cream of tartar
3 ounces cream cheese (not Tbsp!) Do not soften!
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Separate the eggs and add Splenda, salt, and cream cheese to the yolks. Use a mixer to combine the ingredients together. In a separate bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff (if you're using the same mixer, mix the whites first and then the yolk mixture). Using a spatula, gradually fold the egg yolk mixture into the white mixture, being careful not to break down the whites. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spoon the mixture onto the sheet, making 6 mounds. Flatten each mound slightly.
Bake about 30 minutes (You want them slightly softer, not crumbly). Let cool on the sheet for a few minutes, and then remove to a rack and allow them to cool. Store them in a bread sack or a ziplock bag to keep them from drying out.
Makes 6@ about 85 calories a piece, >1 carb per serving

Glad I earmarked this site. I've gotten a lot of good information from here.
Topic: RE: Why I hate men!
I have the last laugh in my house. I'm within close proximity to goal (25 lbs to go with plastic surgery done on 3/3 to remove 15-20 lbs of excess skin), Yet now, my doctor calls me skinny and tells my husband that he has to lose weight.
Topic: RE: PRODUCTS Thread: Low-Carb Yummies
I keep reading about y'all and your deep-fried pork rinds. Well ... I don't eat pork! And I've been dying dying DYING for a salty crunchy snack that was sort of cracker-ey soooooooo
I found these wedged somewhere towards the back of my freezer. If you slightly over-cook them (without burning) in the microwave, they make jim-dandy crackers!!!!
Two slices of vegetarian "bacon" has only one net carb, whoo hoooooooooooooo! And tasty, too, if you have no idea what real bacon tastes like!
(Otherwise, not so sure)

good afternoon. trying to get my foods to be 45%fat 45% protein and 10%carb...10% is usually over the recommended 20ish carbs for ketosis but i get into ketosis fairly easy so it works for me...kinda winged my food today and didnt eat what I had planned on and i turned out pretty close
b-protein shake
s-3 string cheese
l-just the cheese snacks
s-chicken and cheese jerky
d-buffalo wings with ranch
cal 975
fat 43.5 40%
carb 31 13%
prot 115 47%
need to find out a plan to decrease my carb and protein a tad and replace it with fat....i found this awesome calculator for figuring out what nutrients you need for how many calories you are eating for the ketogenic diet...
