MSW posted the recipe, with a gorgeous photo -- and of course, I can't find it. I'll be back with it in a few!

-- Okay, edited post above to include the recipe!
Interested in low-carb nutrition?  Thinking of trying Atkins? Want to try high-fat and/or high-protein eating?  Whether or not you have had (or are thinking about) WLS   http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/atkins/

Hang on a minute there!  You posted yummy delicious low carb crackers with no recipe?  How long do you think you can get away with THAT!  :)

Looks like a great Shabbos dinner.  Enjoy!

I have been enjoying MartitaLinda's Cheese Crackers, and last night made half a pound of them. I had been trying to make them for years, but didn't know I was to use the grated (not ground and powdered Kraft stuff) parmesan. MMMMMMMMMMmmmm

My Low-Carb Maintenance Plan for today:

B: ML's Cheese Crackers with cream cheese and smoked salmon
S: eggs with hollandaise and asparagus
L: kefir
S: pickled herring in sour cream
D: wine, egg bread, baked chicken, baba ganoush, vegetable soup, chicken, spaghetti squash, green beans, and possibly (drum roll) a poppy-seed cookie

And you?

BTW-- Here is the recipe for these Cheese Crisps / Crackers

PARMESAN CRISPS

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 Cup grated Parmesan

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat over to 400
Pour a heaping tablespoon of Parmesan onto a silicone or parchment lined baking sheet and lightly pat down. A silicone baking sheet is highly recommended. Repeat with the remaining cheese, spacing the spoonfuls about a 1/2 inch apart.

Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden and crisp. Cool.

My surgeon requires daily weighing.  I weigh morning and night.  I also weigh every Monday night at WW.  With statistics of 1 in 3 gaining back weight, I want to do everything I can do avoid ever going into denial about my weight.  I figure having to weigh at WW will keep me honest should the scale ever start going up.

I weight once a week at the pcp's office. Don't even own a scale. I can get compulsive about scales because I get compulsive about the one that lives at my DD's home, lol. I will weigh twice a day on that thing when I am visiting.

Once a week is good for me. Slose enough to be aware of what is going on,but far enough apart to not get compulsive about it. I don't need any more compulsions, lol.

Topic: RE: LOW CARB BEER ANYONE?
I don't actually know much about low carb beers but DID hear today that Guiness is lower calorie and lower alcohol than most beers.

I only ever drink beer when I am on vaction in the UK and visiting my friends there - and then I am a Guinness girl all the way. (I figure I can't get in too much trouble when it is an anual or bi-anual event!)
