Good Morning!!! Don't get pranked for April Fools. 2 of us in the office have been enjoying  (control, alt & then an arrow key) flipping the display on coworkers desktops when they leave them on and unattended. I'm sure it will come back to bite me in the ass but hey - I've raised 2 teenage sons by myself into manhood - I deserve to enjoy a few harmless pranks.

Woke up extremely late this morning but it's still going to be a great day. Nothing like an adrenaline rush to start the day.

Here's the plan:

Commute: Coffee w/ splenda and 1/2 & 1/2
B: Scrambled Egg Beaters
s: Pepperoni & LF Cheese Stick (Pepper Jack)
L: Chili
s: Greek Yogurt
D: Pan Seared Scallops & garden salad

I can't hardly wait until dinner time!!! I love, love, love seafood.

Hello All!

I was excited to find a link to this board on someone else's post so I thought I'd check it out and give it a try. I am 33 years old. 241 pounds was my all time high and in July 2009 I had RNY surgery. I am 21 months post op (not even 2 years!) and had lost 91 lbs and gotten to my goal of 150 lbs. Of course I was doing great the first year and then about a year ago I plateaued at my goal of 150 and just haven't been able to lose anymore. This week I was 156 pounds...I would like to get down to 140 pounds.

I've gotten lazy and let old habits creep back in. I eat cookies, ice cream and salty, snacky carbs! The carbs are my down fall! I know I need a low carb diet so this might be something I need to do to lose the weight. Thankfully I've only put on 6 pounds in the last year but I see myself going in a bad direction and I need to stop it! Low carbs and exercise are what I need. I'm hoping that reading this board regularly will inspire me and give me tips and ideas that will motivate me to keep moving forward!

Sorry, couldn't help the reference to Rebecca Black's Friday.

Fun, fun, fun, fun!

Anyway, I have to recommit to low-carbin ttoday, as I do every day.  Looking forward to undoing my snickers-bar experience, and moving forward.

What are YOU eating today?  (Or, conversely, what's eating YOU?)

Topic: RE: WHY TRY IF THOSE LAST POUNDS JUST WON'T COME OFF? (xpost)
Thanks. i needed that.  I have been on liquids last few days. My body just refuses to let go of any that I gained.  I would not mined losing 10 lbs.  I would like that.  But no- it is holding steady.
Today is all liquids... clear... prep for colonoskopy. If I don't see the scale move ... I will get a confirmation that I am turning into a plant. Just need water, some vitamins, and air to gain or maintain my weight... lol...

I tried the Flax Seed muffins yesterday at work and I was impressed. I'm finding I like the texture of the flax seed in different things.

Not sure how they rank with everyone else but I love the chewable Benefiber supplements. My doc recommended them last year after my colonoscopy.

Lots and Lots and Lots of water. Once my body gets used to a certain amount (say 80 oz.) If I don't hit that mark then I don't go poo the next day. That makes for one irritiable me.
