Hey everyone!  Happy Sunday!!!

Yesterday I went high-fiber for lunch -- beans and vegie-protein soy burger replacement, with beans, in enchilada sauce -- Not a lot of "net" carbs, but plenty of fiber, and I'm still recovering from that particular choice, urg.  Today is going to be very, very few non-net carbs, you better believe!

B:  eggs, lox, hollandaise
S:  coffee with full cream
L:  fried cheese with marinara
S: handful of nuts, and possibly a low-carb chocolate egg-cream soda
D:  grilled fish, green salad, carrots

For those of you who want an amazing low-carb beverage, here's a real treat:

The Chocolate Egg Cream.

In a tall glass combine:

4 tablespoons full cream (or 1/2-and-1/2)
2-3 Tablespoons sugar-free chocolate syrup (fox's)

Slowly add:

Chilled soda-water ****il filled)

Very delicious!

Oh wow!  I just assumed there were doniar shops everywhere.  Interesting.

If you ever see a donair shop and you like to try new things I would highly suggest trying one.  You could have it as a salad and not in the pita to save carbs. I don't think you will be disappointed. There are usually three choices of meat.  Lamb, chicken or beef.  I typically go for lamb.

Breakfast was coffee with almond milk, sucralose and coconut oil.  No pp today.

Lunch is one chicken thigh, cold, dipped in mayo.

Supper is going to be a donair.  I have low carb pita bread.  It's my carb splurge for the week.  It should be yummo!

Snack will be a diet iced tea.

Had some sausage for breakfast.
Eating a very tasty salad right now.... Tuna salad on a bed of spinach topped with a few walnuts and a little olive oil and vinegar dressing. YUM!
Will have turkey chili for dinner.
Snack will be the rest of the salad from lunch.

I used to make vegan sushi.  Last time I was in Japan I picked up a sushi roller.  I haven't done it since WLS but I think it's time to start again.  Great idea!

I've been eating the Seaweed Snacks from Trader Joe's.  An entire package is 60 calories and 2 carbs so it's a great low carb treat and the package is huge.  I put chicken salad on it one day.

I thought of using it for the same thing.  They are a little dusty/dry tasting.  Yesterday I took a scoop which is 1 ounce, 20 protein and added a little Almond Breeze to the bowl.  I really felt like I was eating Oreo's.  It's been a year since I've had anything sugar/processed/packaged etc so it's probably just my taste buds, but it works for me!
