Sunday 1310...

Lots of diabetic chocolate, really moves me!  Still no weight lost though, 85 pounds and holding.
Pate and Ryvitas
Roast lamb and roasted carrot
Coffee and fruit teas

Will have to consider upping my exercise if the weight still doesn't go.  My waist and wrists have become smaller, I've lost 20 inches off my waist and tightened up my watch strap by yet another notch.  Still need to lose another 15 pounds to reach target.  Have started sprouting my own seeds to bulk up my cheese and meat, if my stomach doesn't reject the goodness...  They'll be ready to eat in about six days, so watch this space.

In my world, it's a binge if I can't stop or if I feel bad about it.  I know when I am eating healthy and when I am not.  And I know when I would like to stop but can't.

Hala thank you so much for posting this!!!

It's all-out cooking for me today.  Entertaining tonight, tomorrow at lunch, and again on Saturday night.  Food -- EVERYWHERE!

On a lighter note, I took my kids to Disneyland yesterday.  We actually BROUGHT all of our food, and let me tell you -- we actually feel good today!  None of that post-amusement-park stupor that comes from eating crud!  Apples, celery,  cheese, matza, hard-boiled eggs, almond butter, lots of water -- And on the way home the kids ate potato chips and soda (well, you can't have everything ....)

Today's take (keep in mind I'm in maintenance,  not Induction):

B:  coffee with full cream and sugar-free chocolate syrup
S:  3 hard-boiled eggs, gefilte fish
L:  shnitzel, cucumber salad
S:  strawberry/banana smoothing using Greek yogurt
D:  mushroom/onion soup; baked chicken, quinoa, eggplant with tomatoes, asparagus; and possibly a few grapes

The day is coll and rainy,  On low carb diet - I get hot.  Wonder how that affects the rest of you?
Anyway, Friday Easter -in my tradition - needs to be meatless..

Not doing too well calorie wise, but carbs are OK.

today eats:
coffee + milk
protein muffins
yogurt cheese
protein bar (power crunch)
peanuts (1/2 cup)
protein bar....
protein shake or eggs + pickles
going out so probably fish + veggies.
LNS: cheese?

BTW: I need LNS to balance my RH.

Since we take a lot of supplements and at6kins is relatively low fiber diet - we need to make sure that we use all tricks not to get constipated.
I take 1200-1600 mg calcium per day. Add the multi and iron, and the trouble may start.
Too much calcium will cause constipation.  Unless.... you take enough magnesium.
I take magnesium oxide and mag citrate.
Total: I probably take 800-1500 mg of magnesium per day. A lot of it is not being absorbed, and it ends up in my guts, pooling the water in and allow me to have daily or 2 x a day great BM.
Add good fats, (nuts, flax meal) and it is not an issue for me.

I also try to drink enough water, and take probiotics (the friendly bacterias) daily.  Greek yogurt in addition to the pills.

Magnesium has the ability to relax - so many times I take 400 mg during the day and 800.. just before bed. Sleep like a baby.

Thanks for all of the great info! I'm gearing up for this and getting my kitchen prepared over the weekend. I think it's something I just need to accept. Gotta get rid of the cravings and the cycle of carb addiction as you said.

Thanks again. I'm doing a lot of reading from the links on this forum as well as other stuff on the web.
