Topic: Induction Seduction: Having Trouble Saying No to Quick WL
Ever found yourself enjoying really, really rapid weight loss during Induction, and been reluctant to add a few carbs here and there just to slow it down?

I've been eight days back on Induction .... carbs at about 40 grams net (for me this is really low).  With the help of a 24 hour flu, I managed to lose seven pounds.  Feeling like crud, the usual Induction Flu ... but very gratified at the scale, and in my closet (as things begin to fit as they should.)

I'm pretty experienced with Atkins -- been doing it off and on for over a decae -- but here I am, having trouble getting myself to stop the rapid weight loss.  I know it's not good, I know I don't feel well because it's so fast, but ... unwilling to let it go.

I should go on to long term weight loss.  No one can saetly and healthfully stick to rebven pounds a week, and I know that .... after all I'd vanish in no time at all.  But .... It sure is hard to add a few crackers here and there, or more fruit, because it's so rewarding to see the weight loss fall off.

Has this happened to you?

Wow, I'd like to be done with Wednesday, right now!!!  (It's Tuesday evening here.)

So you won't like this ... have you thought about maybe eliminating the pineapple with the cottage cheese, and possibly the Ryvitas?

(Ducking....)

Wednesday, halfway through the weekly grind.  I have next week off, so I'll be preparing food for weeks ahead and freezing it.  Also I'm going to try salads again - wish me luck!

3 boiled eggs
2 Atkins bars
Ryvitas with light cheese triangles
Chicken leg and thigh
Cottage cheese with pineapple

Fifteen months postop - I'll weigh this weekend and decide whether I need to try something new or restrict my intake further....

Actually - that thing is fantastic... RTE - Hormel... I always buy them when they are on a good sale... as many as they have, as long as the price is right.

Craving red meats. Beef, and more beef.  - yep. My iron is low. Or not high enough
I just ate 14 oz of roast beef.  "just" mean 3 hrs ago... . And I am still full. Mind you - I have not have anything with it. Just beef.   And it took me 1 hr to eat it.  But - I loved it.

So next time when you ask yourself "what's for dinner"? Think beef.
As long as you can tolerate it.  It will keep you full for hours. Will provide the proteins and iron. And  - if it is done right - it taste wonderful... (BTW - I didn't cook mine, I bought Hormel RTE Beef roast in natural sauce... - it was on sale... )

Sorry you do not feel well.. hope that it will pass fast.

I did pretty good last few days... I try to stay below 70 carbs , and below 40 net carbs (I do not count fiber)  So far so good.
Today will be easy day...

protein coffee
1/2 protein bar (went for a fast walk - needed more carbs - or I get low BS)
flax meal muffin (love the recipe)
beef roast + some veggies
yogurt + proteins+ flax + berries
beef burger + cheese on savory flax muffin slices
stuffed red pepper, salad
