Sally,  they're all expensive but look at the lengths you've gone through for a healthier body.  I would think of it as a way to pamper and take care of myself to have a warm breakfast if that's what I wanted.  You have the other 364 days of the year to worry about the price of eggs, unless of course it would be a financial hardship.  If that's the case, then I apologize for my comment as it might seem rude and unthoughtful.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I don't remember what the Omaha airport has for food vendors.  And I hate paying what restaurants want for breakfasts.  I was at one hotel that charged $13 for two eggs!

Better late then never?!!!! 

Had a very busy day yesterday and was exhausted by 7 pm so I was already down for the count by the time this thread was posted.  So now I am up really early and about to start my day again.

Yesterday went like this:

several coffee w/atkins shake as creamer
Queso Blanco
LC protein cake
Atkins bar
coconut egg custard
Protein shake
Pot roast w/veggies

100 grms Ardennes Pate and 3 Ryvita
100 grms cheese.
2scrambled eggs.

 Hi Everyone.  Late tonight because I went to my Kaiser WLS support group.

bacon
1 egg
homemade chicken salad - 1/2 cup
1 slice cheese
3 oz pork chop
1 T sour cream
1/2 ounce almonds

Calories - 746
Protein - 62
Carbs -  7

I enjoyed it!!!...

I use them a lot! When the family is having potatoes, pasta, rice...I will have the sprouts..But, I use the can ones this time of year!

 Bean sprouts!  Do you eat them raw, or steamed?  I just started sprouting a batch of them on my dining room table.  Have pea sprouts and broccoli sprouts in the fridge right now.  Usually I grow my own greens, but even in southern California not much comes up in January!  I hadn't thought of using cooked sprouts as spaghetti!
