I guess I post it... please don't kill me if I am not suppose to...

My day was OK. Again dealing with a small pouch day.
food was easy.

Ate some cheese in the morning and some pumpkin seeds...
Coffee with almond milk
protein shake ( with some almond milk and blueberries)
tabouli (small serving)
nut bar (a bit high on carbs, but still not that bad)
yogurt with proteins and flax meal
cheese and cucumbers...
1/2 small apple

wow... overall not that low on carbs ... actually quite high on carbs.. surprisingly... 90 gr.. with 65 net... not so good... But I usually do not have 2 servings of fruits and a nut bar on the same day... and nuts... OK... need to change that...

Hi Lisa...
Wednsday was a good low carb day for me. Most of the day I could not eat much - the small pouch day... then got a really bad migrane headache... and then could not eat anything ...not even a bite.
But once I finally got hhome and could take a pill... and teh time elapsed... I was able to get some good chicken in mushroom souce...
Overall low on calories and proteins... low on carbs.

Hey Girl and Thank you for what you said about dying..I believe that, as well.

Is the turkey you eat from the deli or do you bake the trukey breast yourself..?

Thanks again..!!

Cyndy,
I am sorry for your loss. I too have lost both my brother and grandfather this past month and it is hard to get back on track after that! We can do it though!

What's worked for me the best is completely eliminating all refined carbs as well as fruit *for awhile at least*  Focus on good, lean protein. Egg, chicken, fish...make sure to get plenty of fluids and a little exercise.
I'm currently going through day 3 and the headache is still in full swing but I know it will leave eventually.

Also the carb accountability thread rocks!

Sorry for your loss,Cyndy, but glad your grandmother has gon on to her reward. I firmly believe in my heart that there ARE worse things than dying.

I found out that cold turkey was about the best for me. s long as I was still having a little carb here aND THERE IT WAS HARDER TO LET THEM GO COMPLETELY. i PRETTY WENT ALL PROTEIN EVEN GOING OFF GOOD CARBS LIKE BEANS AND NUTS UNTIL i COULD GET THRU THE DAY WITHOUT THINKING OF CARBS OR EATING ANY. i HAVE GRADUALLY ADDED BACK SOME BEANS HERE AND THERE AND SEEM TO BE DOING WELL.

sORRY FOR THE ALL CAps  NOT SHOUTING,BUT NOT GOING TO GO BACK AND TYPE ALL THAT AGAIN,LOL

bE KIND TO YOURSELF,BUT FIRM,
h
