Feels like I have sand in my left eye, so I might have to visit a beach this weekend!

3 boiled eggs
Sausages
Ryvitas and stilton butter
2 Atkins bars
Coffee and tea

This weekend in Swansea I'll visit the Classic Motorcycle Show.  Only 2 years before my NHS pension comes out, I have my eye on a BMW 1200 motorcycle, or the equivalent Triumph.  Will just want to get up in the morning and ride towards the sun...  HAPPY LOCARBING!!

How is everybody?

I am OK.  Had my 3 year doc appointment and it is good and not good. I did gain 25 lbs in 1 year. But I do feel better, and I now have an ass.. (good asset)
His concerns re valid. After 2 year mark RNY patients have a rebound.  Mine was 25 lbs and over 20%. Not good.
i want to be 10 lbs lighter... but... not sure if mu body wants that.
One one note- my weight was up 7 lbs due to recent hormones implants and antibiotics I take... but still... way too high.  Time to shape up and lose 15 lbs. For good "again"
today plan is:
coffee+ Al Milk
protein shake
3 cheese sticks
liver + mushrooms + onions... (there I go again - but I do need to get the iron up)
protein shake, 1/2 prot bar (if we go for a walk)
some more food - maybe fish? not sure...

Early to bed.

Hey everyone -- I think about you all every day.  At work and at home, I wa**** by some serious losses.  I still have a job, but many of my friends have been laid off, and one important mentor/boss dying of cancer, just left to go home and die.  So I've been in various stages of ongoing grief for weeks now.

I realize it is a passing triviality by comparison, but my beloved dog of fourteen years also died about two weeks ago.

In all, it's been a rough month or so, and I apologize deeply for leaving the low-carb fold for a while. In all of this, I have managed to gain about twelve pounds of bloated crud.

Summer arrives for me on Friday afternoon.  I have purchased a pair of hideous but comfortable purple and black and orange running shoes, that my daughters certainly will not steal, and my morning runs will resume Saturday at six AM.  I am lining up my low-carb menus for the coming week, and we shall have at it again, I guess.

Thank you all for your kind and curious messages.  They meant a lot to me. I'm still hanging on the edges of profound sadness and trying to right myself, so I'll be back online to help the process along.
Interested in low-carb nutrition?  Thinking of trying Atkins? Want to try high-fat and/or high-protein eating?  Whether or not you have had (or are thinking about) WLS   http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/atkins/
